I was very pleased with the service Woodhouse Property Consultants provided. Upon viewing a property and now purchased.....one of the agents Laine was quite helpful guiding me around the property and disclosing info about the property. Gail who is the manager was eager to help me with other services like getting in touch with the vendor to seek info on electrical appliances, recommending an electrician, a broker and a van removal service; but ultimately contributing to a simultaneous completion. Don’t trust the block viewing’s. They take you in to view before the block viewer’s , if you manage to convince them. Will sell it if you make an offer, then tell the other block viewers just one day before that their viewing has been cancelled. So if you have a block viewing, don’t wait for week’s in hope’s. They have now responded below with the typical, “ if this is a genuine review”. Save yourself the hassle guys…

Having been a tenant for 18mths it became clear at various points that your valued until you sign the contract, after that, your a hinderance. At point of renewal my contract clearly stated the tenancy moved to a rolling monthly basis but was told "I know it says that but that's not the case".....my legally binding contract said otherwise After digging my heels in, as if by magic, I was right. I then recently gave my contractual 1 months notice to terminate, I agreed viewings at set times, Woodhouse overbooked, sent more and more (some even at the same appointment time) and I was told "yeah we do that incase people dont turn up".... no regard whatsoever for, what I regard as my home, being treated like a cattle farm. Best of all is trying to get your deposit back. On moving in inventory every room had damage not listed until I had it added. Your deposit is held independently by a company that advise you to be present at the moving out inventory. When I requested this I was simply ignored and inventory done without me knowing. A week after giving the keys back I have to chase via email for updates... all ignored. Got hold of Alice on the phone who clearly should not be let anywhere near the public as has an attitude a doorman of a nightclub would be proud of, Silvio is a great second hand car salesman...your best mate until you hand over the money, and then there's Anita who does nothing but transfer you because "that's something I cant help with" Bear in mind, I wasn't a tenant that called up every day with issues. I never rang once, repaired minor faults myself and always paid my rent on time In my opinion that deserves a simple thank you for the tenancy, or at least a reply to my questions I received my deposit into my account 8 days later and still not a word from anyone at Woodhouse. They simply have no regard for tenants once they have the tenancy signed With all the choice on the high street at the moment I would intentionally avoid using Woodhouse in the future

I can confidently say that Woodhouse are the best agent I’ve ever dealt with, as I’ve used them as both as a Landlord and a Vendor. To start with, they’ve been managing my property for over 20 years. Half the staff are still there which to me shows stability. In that time they’ve always demonstrated they want houseproud tenants that don’t cause issues, and when issues do come up you have the likes of Lainie & Esin orchestrating the solution. And then last year the market crashed, my interest rates shot up and I had no choice but to sell one of my properties. This was obviously distressing to the tenant, and throughout the process I had Woodhouse handling her with sensitivity so she didn’t become un-cooperative. Silvio & Gail are genuine professionals, you can tell from the tone of their phone calls and emails manners that they have the experience and competence just to get things done. And finally the cherry on top was the 360 Virtual Tour that Tony did for my property. Photos are great, but the virtual tour was a very impressive touch to make the house stand out. I’m happy to share my thanks for all the hard work.

I would like to take the time to thank the Woodhouse team for the hand-holding throughout the sale of our house. We were in a chain of 4 and I have to say that if it wasn’t for Gail, this chain would’ve collapsed. She did the heavy lifting when other agents who couldn’t be bothered to make difficult efforts with downvals, renegotiations and solicitor-chasing. She dragged us all completion so I hope you’ve earned those chocs & flowers 😊 Special thanks also to Silvio who we met at the valuation. Not pushy, genuinely helpful with so much advice of which some didn’t even occur to us, and listened to our needs instead of a robotic script we heard from other agents.
