The transaction would not have reached its completion stage had it not been for Peter's guidance and support to us, even on his days off! I don’t usually write reviews, especially on the back of good service, but I recently completed my house move and felt it was important to say thank you to Paul Wallace and in particular Peter Gold. This is my fourth property transaction and those who know me personally, know how much I dislike the Estate Agents and the process as a whole. I have found the majority of Estate Agents to be untrustworthy and only out for themselves, with many unprofessional and cutting corners at every opportunity. But this is the second time I have used Paul Wallace to sell my house and that’s all because of Peter Gold. Peter really did go above and beyond for me and certainly exceeded all my expectations from start to finish. I found Peter to not only be hardworking, but he’s also a really genuine person, who really did do go the extra mile to ensure a first class service. He kept me updated and all times (even when my buyer was abroad with no Wi-Fi) and even when problems arose, he found solutions to ensure the whole experience was a positive one. Peter is extremely passionate about his job and genuinely understands the needs/ frustrations of his clients, with me regularly calling and getting updates from him on his days off. It really has been a pleasure and a privilege to have had dealings with him and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about selling their house to talk to Peter first. We have now purchased and sold through Paul Wallace estate agents and can safely say they are they best company that we have dealt with. They get the job done and don't just talk the talk like some I have encountered. Every one I have spoken to there has been really professional and can't do enough to help. We had a few hiccups along the way with 2 of our purchases falling through and Joe and Nick were really lovely when I asked for advice about our subsequent purchases (that were not through them). I am really grateful for the support from Peter, Nick, Paul, George and especially to Joe who pushed the whole thing through to exchange which was not made especially easy with the vendors of the house we are purchasing being particularly awkward. Don't hesitate to use this company if you are looking to sell. They are as efficient and professional as it gets and really do care about the service they provide. Nothing was too much trouble and were even contactable out of hours and were happy to help whenever needed. I also remember when we purchased through them that they were a lot more efficient than the estate agents we used to sell our previous house. Thank you very much to all at Paul Wallace. Seemless transaction

I highly recommend Joe Solazzo and Paul Wallace agents.. They took on the sale of my mums house which was occupied with a tenant, and firstly achieved the market value which is rare. Secondly, my mum had a serious car accident so I had to take over the sale negotiations from my home in Thailand. THEN, we encountered problems with our tenant and had to go about getting an eviction order in place. Joe helped me step by step of the way with what I had to do with solicitors etc and he liased with the buyers and kept them updated. The whole experience from my side was extremely professional contacting me via email with questions and updates and he would also call me in Thailand when needed. Very happy with the 100% service thanks to Joe.

To keep it short and sweeter than a tooth with no limits, Paul Wallace provided a 5 star service, similar to the Shangri-la hotels!. From meeting me ay my house (that I was selling) to dealing with an impossible buyer. They were calm, cool and collected throughout the entire process and kept me informed the whole way. Peter (the agent) who was managing my account was fantastic, real and honest about everything. We had a bromance from the get go and he was upfront every step of the way. His colleague (Joe) was amazing and took the reigns everytime Peter was absent and was a pleasure dealing with on every communication. I would recommend Paul Wallce everytime. Sadly they only deal with homes in the Hertfordshire area and not London. :)

We recently exchanged contracts on our property and felt it imperative to share our experiences of Paul Wallace Hoddesdon. If you're looking to sell your property and are unsure which Estate Agency to choose we can't recommend them highly enough. They really do go above and beyond the call of duty and certainly have exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Such a lovely, personable and approachable team of staff who are very passionate about their job and genuinely understand the needs of their clients. We have, over the past 30 years or so, bought and sold a number of properties and often the Estate Agent is seen as the enemy, unapproachable, ruthless and untrustworthy. Paul Wallace Hoddesdon are quite the opposite!!! Such genuine, hardworking, caring people who really do go the extra mile to ensure a truly first class service for their clients. We were constantly kept updated, never once had to phone to enquire about the progress of the sale and the whole experience was a very positive one. They liased with solicitors on our behalf and resolved issues that arose along the way, even out of office hours and on their days off (they even retrieved urgent paperwork from our house that was required by solicitors prior to the day of exchange). Unbelievable service! Our solicitors commented that they'd never encountered such wonderful Estate Agents. It really has been a pleasure and a privilege to have had dealings with them. House buying/selling is notoriously one of the most stressful life experiences but Paul Wallace have alleviated this with their exceptionally efficient service. I'm not usually a fan of Estate Agents (!!) but I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a professional, friendly and efficient service. Progress on the sale was a little protracted at times, as there was a lack of information along the chain, but they chased things along and kept me advised at all times during the process. Paul Wallace at the Brookfield Centre were recommended to me by friends and they have helped me with the sale of my late father's bungalow. The experience we had with Paul Wallace was second to none. We didn't have the smoothest of house sales due to losing our buyer and our purchase but Paul Wallace were extremely pro-active in getting us another buyer. They also found us another property which was perfect for us. During the process from sale agreed to exchange Joe kept us informed all the way. The most unprofessional agent I have ever come across. note: they make people who visit their office leave good reviews to not show the bad ones so be very careful and do your research throughly. I would suggest all vendors/buyers avoid this agent at all costs because you would have lots of regrets in going ahead with them. They have houses listed in the last 24 hours, when you call for a booking within the 1 hour its been listed they tell you “its all booked and house is sold” how can the house be sold if all viewings are not accepted and calls are made within 1 hour of listing. Maybe a potential buyer, will be offering way more than the current person and the vendor will make more out of the sale, is that not the purpose of the agent to make the vendors as much money as they can. However in all truth and honesty, It turns out that this agency specifically takes money in their pocket, accepts bribes and gives it to people who pay them £1000-2000 secretly, 2people I know personally have admitted that they have offered agents who show around the house money and they have accepted the offer there and then and cancelled all upcoming viewings for that specific house yet they deny this. I have written to the relevant departments and have made my complaints and this branch is under full investigation. Watch out for Steve and Paul the manager. This agent needs to be avoided at all costs. So many more professional branches elsewhere in Cheshunt who don’t pick and choose who they sell to. All agents should be professional and no one should discriminate agaisnt names of buyers. Very bad experience with these people, will never be dealing with them again. Any house listed under Paul Wallace is a big no no for us. Vendors need to be aware - you may not know what they are doing but this agency is a RED FLAG. Its a shame for the honest sellers who go ahead with paul wallace because they could be offered so much more by buyers however because some of the agents take money secretly, the vendors are unaware of the higher offers which are never put forward by the agents. Just be aware and throughly investigate this branch before you go ahead. Many more trustable agents in Cheshunt. You could get so much more for properties that you sell yet those high offers are never put forward which is a shame. Throughly investigate this branch before you go ahead and this review is from someone who is genuinely looking out for honest people like myself who has had this terrible, horrifying experience. If you confront the agent face to face I will assure you they will go red, be rude and blantly deny this review but please do test them and ask them about the review in person and their reaction will be your answer. It’s been done and tested by a few people I know. Just be careful and don’t be conned by these scammers who secretly accept bribes and sell houses for much lower
