Unlike my previous perception of Estate Agents

Unlike my perception of Estate Agents in the past, I found Peter Gold, and his staff at Paul Wallace, fantastically helpful, friendly and professional. They go that extra mile to help, not only the seller of a property, but the purchaser as well. They liaise between the two parties perfectly, to ensure that both seller and buyer are kept advised and happy with the progress of the sale. I could not fail to recommend them to any prospective property seller.

The lettings team have managed our house

The lettings team have managed our property for over 8 years now and their performance has been exemplary in all aspects. We live outside of the UK and even the most challenging of issues with the property have been dealt with rapidly and proactively by the team. Very rude staff this branch needs to improve its attitude acting like secondary school kids a simple enquiry is being responded with aggressive mannerism experienced this with two staff members if your selling a house don’t think they will represent you I am a cash buyer yet they just want to do one days work with the viewing they don’t care about the best offer only the best offer on the single day! Still the attitude and rudeness is disappointing will never deal with this company again.

My personal circumstances were exceptionally difficult and emotional, and I myself was very unwell: Peter and all his team were genuinely compassionate and understanding from the very outset and did everything possible to minimise the inevitable stress and to be accommodating to my extremely difficult circumstances, they really went above and beyond. It is hard to imagine that things could have gone much more smoothly and painlessly than they did and I cannot thank or praise them highly enough for making the sale of my parents’ house so easy at a time when I needed that the most and for being so easy, pleasant and friendly to deal with in ways that are rare these days...honest, open, never made me feel I was stupid or that anything I asked was an imposition I can honestly say that you will not regret it if you buy or sell through Paul Wallace, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I can't imagine the Cheshunt branch would be any different, but I cannot speak from personal experience on that. Thankyou, all at Paul Wallace.

The team at Paul Wallace, Hoddesdon have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Having dealt with numerous estate agents previously we were blown away by the service provided to us during the process of selling our home and purchasing our next. The whole team at Hoddesdon work together extremely well and are all very approachable. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for them as they go above and beyond in keeping us updated at all times as well as chasing others to ensure a smooth process. Very Impressed!

In December I spoke with Mr Paul Leadley @ the Cheshunt branch to arrange a valuation of my house with the hope to get it on the market in the new year. Paul was very polite, professional, punctual & very personable. After the valuation he remained in contact without pestering :) Unfortunately we did not proceed but, when I advised Paul of this, whilst he was of course disappointed, he was just so very gracious about it, it was refreshing! Highly recommend Paul to anyone considering appointing an estate agent...

I had thought about selling my house through Purple Bricks but I now know with absolute certainty that I made the right decision choosing Paul Wallace. Paul Wallace were an absolute God send from start to finish with the moving process. Previously we had tried another agent to move house and were unsuccessful due to the volume of traffic with the stamp duty holiday. Then we tried Paul Wallace. Game changer. Jon from the Cheshunt office sold our house on the first viewing and was so attentive throughout the whole process. The solicitor, Robert, that was recommended was also so efficient and went over and above what he should do for us. The service felt very efficient and professional yet also personal at the same time as we weren’t just a number that earnt commission for a faceless agent we were people and the emotional impact of moving etc was in mind at all times. Then there was Joe. When I say we can’t thank him enough we mean that. The service he provided was so heartfelt and thorough. He presented himself as a real person to us throughout the whole process and his down to earth, knowledgeable manner was so assuring throughout the moving process with our 11 week old baby. It felt like he understood how much a move meant to us and was right there with us. Definitely have a nice bottle of wine winging it’s way to the Hoddesdon office for you Joe. You and Robert Dawson (the solicitor working in partnership with Paul Wallace) were instrumental in this move and we are so grateful as we know it would not have completed in the timeframe needed if it wasn’t for you both front running this for us. We would never use another agent again, see you when we sell this house!
