The Leaders office in Nantwich was closed due to some technical problems, so we went to Crewe and the gentleman we spoke to was unfriendly and unhelpful. We had a complex letting situation which, though the information was technically correct, he was rude and unhelpful presenting to us. A couple of weeks later and we’ve just let a 3-story, 4-bedroom house in Nantwich thanks to the help of other companies letting agents who guided us through how to navigate the complexities of our situation. Do better.

Leaders I amongst the worst I have ever encountered. Avoid this letting agency if you can. I recently rented a house that was infested with slugs and had mould in it . The management is evasive and downright unhelpful. I have yet my worst nightmare come true in renting a property. To top it all off, I had a newborn and they never made an effort to remedy my situation and refused to compensate for the discomfort.

So after deciding to build my portfolio I looked around for properties for sale. I found a property for sale with Leaders and arranged a viewing. Andrew was very professional in arranging this. Zoltan who showed us round was very helpful and informative. After our offer was accepted Andrew and Sue worked hard throughout the process and was always keeping me updated throughout the process. They were both very professional and a credit to leaders. Thank you to Andrew and Sue for all there help and will definitely use them again for our next purchase

Great service. Leaders Crewe initially got the opportunity because they did the basics right, which their competitors didn't. They answered the phone, returned any messages and communicated well. Latterly, Ben Stevenson took the reins as manager and within a short space of time sold our property. From that point the process is fraught with issues (ours was relatively simple) which Ben and Sue Carter held our hands through. Would recommend

Our vendors used Leaders to sell the house. They were excellent communicators with ourselves, making sure we were updated and understood the process. Andrew showed us the house and was enthusiastic and accommodating. Sue was an absolute rock, on a bumpy journey. She is very professional, communicative and goes the extra mile with customer service. We had just one regret and that was following a recommendation to use an intermediary company to appoint a solicitor. The solicitors were disappointing to put it mildly. Learnt a lesson the hard way and would now recommend using a local solicitor. But, otherwise I would highly recommend Leaders.

I would like this to be a personal thank you to Joanna Lawrinson. I cannot thank her enough for the help and support she has shown over the past few weeks. My daughter moved to the area to start a new job and had a rented a lovely apartment from leaders. Things didn’t work out for my daughter and her job which made things very difficult for her so she had to come out of the lease sooner than we intended her to. Right from the beginning Jo was very compassionate and helped us in every way possible, I was very upset at times and Jo just listened to me and said that it would all be okay and that she would sort it out. I appreciate very much she went above and beyond her job role so on behalf of me and my daughter I would like to say a big thank you to Jo personally. I’ve been a landlord for quite a while now. However this is the first time in Crewe. I wanted to find an agency that is friendly, proactive and competent. Our search for a new home has sent us through almost every estate agents in Crewe. Leaders has been by far the best for customer service and professionalism. We dealt with Ben at Leaders who was attentive and made us feel like a priority. Other estate agents have been lacking in these areas and we have found ourselves calling them to receive updates about properties we expressed an interest in. In my experience, they have not been a reliable estate agency. I would advise landlords to avoid giving them properties to manage, as payments were repeatedly delayed even when tenants paid their rent on time. Please be cautious if you wish to avoid potential financial complications.

I have used leaders both in Nantwich and now I’m crewe. The team in crewe are extremely helpful and really do go the extra mile to ensure your getting what you genuinely want. I have seen a couple of rented properties with Sammii in the crewe area, although I’ve yet to decide on where I would next like to move, i would always stay with leaders. Sammii was extremely knowledgable and helpful and had kept in contact regarding my queries.

As having lived In a property managed by Soulth & Co which then became leaders I would strongly advise anybody to try other options before renting a property managed by leaders. Whilst at the property we had a a few issues with plumbing which needed attention as soon a possible. When we called the shop it was out of hours so we got put through to the main offices for leaders down Soulth. We May as well have not bothered as this took over 24 hours for any action. There is a huge lack of communication between leaders the tennant and the landlord. Which resulted in us living in a room with large amounts of damp around the window from the day we reported it to leaders it was 8 months before any action took place over it. The property was left in an emmaculate condition ( a lot cleaner than it was when we moved in ) however getting the deposit back almost seemed an immposible task. Please thing twice before renting or letting with this company.

EDITED TO ADD Sadly, a year on, in spite of being promised change, nothing has. Leaders is still happy to take your money, whilst providing a less than basic service. All communication now seems to be done via some god awful portal - no one even bothers to pick up the phone. In addition, we’ve just discovered that our property is being rented out for well under market value, in spite of us being told we were at the top end of rental income for the area. Utter rubbish. Currently looking for a way out!! Please - avoid at all costs!! Absolutely dreadful from the start. We rented out our property in Crewe with South & Co in 2013, after having to leave the area. They were brilliant. Unfortunately they sold to Leaders a few years ago, and we’ve had nothing but problems since. Appalling communication and a basic lack of consideration in all areas. Very basic things, like getting more than one quote when there is work to be carried out, are ignored. They seem to have such a high turn over of staff that no one has a decent level of knowledge or understanding about your property. They seem to be allowing the current tenants to damage the property and expect us to pay out time and time again. Leaders are currently causing me so much stress, I’d rather sell it than carry on with them managing it! Please, do yourself a favour and find a management company who actually know what they’re doing and care!

DO NOT RENT WITH THEM! The agents treat you as their personal enemy, being EXTREMELY rude towards the customer and very unhelpful. It is impossible to have a conversation since they refuse to understand basic English and have a difficult attitude. Even when they make mistakes, they blame you for not being clear or for not reconfirming something that was confirmed weeks before. You will feel unsafe and insecure since they won’t help fixing any problem that arises. P.S. Leaders Crewe, don’t even bother to reply with your prompt ‘we’re sorry’ message. We all know you don’t care about your customers.
