House design is brilliant but the quality and workmanship is shocking. I'm in the building trade, and can't believe the workmanship around me, silicone around the Bath looks like a child has done it, in fact all the silicone around the house is a mess. Cracked windows, odd size architraves, cracked doors, doors that don't open, doors that don't shut... Really bad quality, wish we could get rid of it... Up yours Jones homes.. Lovely house, built with care but let down by serious lack of attention to detail. We were subsequently informed that some of these disappointing issues are within industry standard which seems to be the general ‘cop out’ excuse. These standards should be reviewed. Shockingly dirty on move in day. Lack of transparency on exact location and its drawbacks. We were refused access due to various site issues until 2 days before completion so too late to back out without huge upset to others. Having said all that, the assistant site manager and the sales person involved were as helpful as they were able to be and we were very grateful for that.

Trustpilot21 months in property and still waiting…
21 months in property and still waiting for items on 7 day snag list to be completed. Multiple issues throughout this process. Company only cares about selling new houses, the finish of the properties is shabby and they have 0 interest in remedial works.This isn't my first new build, but Jones are bottom of the list in my view

Terrible - house in Heather View Hade edge not designed or built for the elements and natural weather conditions, 3 year old house failing in too many places to list. Terrible customer service not interested in fixing issues even when there own contracors say there are issues. Disappointing to say the least.

If no stars was an option, that’s what they would get!!We have sent an application for solar panel installation in our 23 year old house back in April. We have been told it will take a few weeks but after the time has passed we have been told a lot of bullocks as to why the decision has not yet been made. JH stopped answering my calls and getting a response to an email was like a miracle. This is the office in Alderley Edge, Stockport. Only after I called them out on the lies they have been feeding us, they said the application has been approved, this is over 4 months later!!!! What sort of company does that? Stringing along a customer for such a long time, not a professional behaviour you’d expect from a respectable company. As an advice for JH, work more closely with your customers, be truthful and open about their applications etc, as the experience we had caused a total loss of respect for Jones Homes.

Well where do I start with this company, I have been verbally abused by their construction director (Yorkshire) and not had an apology. Over 400 snags was found on the house which after 9 months are still outstanding. They have a complete disregards for safety which has resulting in been injured twice. Things missing from the house, extras paid for which still haven't been installed after 9 months.Joke of a company that keeps getting worse. Raise with the regional director who couldn't even apologise for his staff behaviours.

We live in a Jones home about 16 years old. The company own a line of trees behind our property and do not maintain them. They are now about 40 feet high. We get constant huge branches crashing into our garden and onto our garden room roof (some are over 12 feet long). We now get very, very poor TV signal and cannot get sky reception despite spending hundreds of pounds on aerial boosters. We have sent over 20 letters in the past 7 months (recorded signature on delivvery) and they are ignored with no courtesy of reply. We are at our wits end. Moral of this story, a greedy builder with no interest in customer's quality of life. Beware buying from this company.

Love our new home. purchase was straight forward. a couple of snags still to sort out which is why I've not given a 5 star review, other than that I would. can recommend the quality of build. beautifully landscaped front gardens & estate whilst back gardens turfed. Customer service always polite, everyone helpful.

Would not rate Jones homes to buy a new build. Numerous issues in the house. Garden keeps flooding every time it rains due to drainage holes that have been put in the brickwork on the wall. Tarmac on the front of my property hasn’t been completed after over 2 years being in the property. The site got abandoned for over a year with no explanation to the residents on the development.

Another example of the poor workmanship on their so called Signature development at the Van Dyk Village near Clowne, we took the radiator off in the garden room to paint this weekend, the brackets are only just holding on as the plasterboard has been damaged, in shed of repairing it they have left it in such a poor state I’m surprised the radiator has not feel off the wall, it’s another example of the poor trades working on these properties and nobody from Jones Homes checks their work, the construction team are a disgrace, be very careful as we have just joined the local WhatsApp group and all the residents are saying the same, beautiful place, extremely poor houses and a company that don’t have the resources to build quality homes anymore

We are extremely disappointed with the quality of the new house we have just purchase from Jones Homes on their so called Signature development at the Van Dyke Village, over 300 issues found when we walk through the door, we understand new properties have snags however the quality of workmanship is disgraceful, we asked to speak with the Director of Jones Homes to ask the question, who checks the work of the trades working in the house, his response was he checks all properties, right!!!, 349 issues raised, why have they let a customer purchase a new house because it’s not a home, when there are so many snags, it’s clear they don’t care about the customer, all the comms you read about Jones Homes stating they have attention to detail is complete untrue, I believe this company has lost its values when it comes to customer experience, we’ve purchased three properties from the company over the last 20 years and they have lost their way, we think they have got complacent, they need to remember with out customers they have no business, I hope our experience is a one off however I’d hate another family to go through what we have experienced, you move into your dream home only to realise it’s actually a nightmare, I’m sure we have just been unlucky and something has clearly gone wrong however be careful, we’ve probably got months of trades coming into our house to rectify these issues which when your are struggling with mental health issues it’s not what you want. Don’t think the construction team are hear to help, they may have the qualifications to understand house building but please don’t let them speak with customers, they just don’t have the skills to try and reassure you that these issues will be addressed, Jones Homes, please take our experience as reality, don’t lose what’s happening with your customers from basic failures, your a great company which needs to reflect on what’s really happening outside the head office doors, this could have a major impact on your reputation. We understand you have a duty to put the issues right and we believe you will, sometimes it’s best to do things right in the first place than address these once the customer moves in, I’m no expert however this must have a financial impact on your business not to start and detail the damage this can have to your reputation with treating customers like bricks, if you purchased a car for £610,000, it would come off the production line, it would go into a quality check before the customers is handed the keys, you would not expect to have to keep taking the car back to the showroom with 300 defects, come on Jones Homes, really!!!

We have just had Gary and Martin ( joiner and decorator) around to complete minor snagging work.We must say they were both excellent, leaving the apartment clean and tidy following the efficient completion of the jobs.

Almost everything went according to plan, unfortunately Jones were unable to change bathroom detail or fencing around the property. The paving behind the house was hardly adequate.
