GoogleFrom start to finish I cannot fault anything. Everyone I spoke with at Gascoigne Halman was so friendly and helpful and I was kept updated throughout the purchase of my flat. If I had a query they got back to me straight away and sorted any potential problems out. Great estate agents. Lovely staff.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. From the outset they seem great, but as soon as the agreement is signed they stop caring about anything except getting the rent in each month. They'll happily let themselves in without speaking to you, they say that they only have to send an email 24hrs in advance. They never return calls. They ignore maintenance requests and then try to say that you damaged things that never worked and were highlighted on the initial move in. As for returning your deposit, I am currently going through a claim against them through the dps as after 4 weeks of vacating at the end of tenancy, they have not done a thing woth regards to authorising the return of deposit. Once you aren't paying them rent anymore, they won't return calls, messages, emails. Go in in person and funnily enough, "oh sorry, they've left for the day and I work in a different dept. I'll leave them a message and get them to call you in the morning" AVOID AT ALL COSTS

GoogleWhat more praise can I give the wonderful estate agents at Gascoigne Halman? From the initial valuation with Jo, to the continual viewing & sales process with Meghan & Kate, the whole team were beyond excellent. Particularly during a wobble (the buyer's original buyer pulled out) they calmly gave great advice & got the sale completed. I can definitely recommend G&H Poynton Branch to prospective sellers.

GoogleJoanne and her team have given a professional service from first meeting through to completion. A house move is considered to be one of life's most stressful situations. Any issues we had were immediately dealt with and resolved as they endeavored to keep our stress levels to a minimum! They were always confident the sale price was realistic and with a little negotiation (give & take!), was achieved within eight months. We are so happy with the outcome and that they managed to find the "perfect" couple to buy our house... thank you!

GoogleThe staff at the Poynton office were brilliant especially Owen.Communication was excellent. Hi .They sold the house quickly but as I realised during the process it’s not just about selling.There were ups and downs along the way with surveys,solicitors etc. Owen and his colleagues were professional, kind and supportive all the way through. Owen facilitated the sale by communicating with solicitors and other Estate Agents keeping us informed at every step. I don’t know how long it would have taken without his persistence. I cannot thank them enough. We are finally in our dream home. I would definitely recommend Gascogne Halman Poynton.

Throughout all the staff were helpful and friendly at all times and couldn't be faulted for their service and attitude. They were very professional from the outset - clearly Jo knew the market well and quickly had our house advertised at the right price with some great photos. The team visited the house in advance of showing it to all potential buyers. We had prompt feedback from each viewing and were kept up to date throughout the process. Jo handled negotiations for us and was very responsive and helpful during the legal process. All in all we were impressed with the service and would highly recommend them

GoogleFrom start to finish, Owen has been working hard to acheive the sale for me. He has been super helpful and resonsive and really gone the extra mile in chasing everything up. Nicole and Alison have also been very helpful and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are much more experienced and human than other local firms I've come across. Trustpilot'Its a landlord's / Agencies world.. we just live in it'
'Its a landlord's / Agencies world... and we all just live in it'.. I recently rented a house in Frodsham and on return of the property, despite a gold star check out report, the lack of communication regarding my deposit refund was horrific.. multiple calls, emails, 'I can't reach the Landlord', 'let me check and get back to you' it became farcical. I was then hit with an 80% claim by the landlord against my deposit for made up broken items and repairs. The check out team in Macclesfield did not care, emails not responded to, nonsense chatter blaming the Frodsham branch who apparently were in conversations with the landlord regarding re listing the property, however the check out team in Macclesfield could not reach him. The emphasis clearly was to talk to the landlord about more money for him, more money for GH and just leave me and hopefully I will go away. I asked to speak to the branch manager at Macclesfield who did call me, she also didn't know what was going on so said she would follow up and help. Needless to say this was the one and only time I heard from her, not even a courtesy call or anything... I obviously rejected the claim by the landlord and fast forward 4 months since we left the property, the DPS have awarded our deposit in almost its entirety, so the greed of the landlord did not win in this case, quite rightly... and if GH would have consulted with him and me better from the start we maybe could have avoided such a mentally straining 4 months for me. I understand they are acting on the landlords wishes, however, the sheer disregard for the tenant was freighting. I now own a property so renting is not something I plan on doing in the near future, however should the need arise, I will never use GH again for their services, nor will I engage with them in any future business. Note - this mainly refers to the Macclesfield Branch.

GoogleThe Gasgoine team in Poynton go above and beyond for their clients, if you are looking to put your house on the market I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Our experience was a lot better than we have had with other agents. Jo understood our requirements from the outset and the sales team supported us throughout. Accurate valuations, no fluff, flexible to our needs and excellent communication on all viewings. Thank you!

Avoid these clowns (Poynton branch). They provide a shocking service. Terrible communication. The conveyancers they recommended were utterly atrocious and useless. After six months of wrangling with a supposed first time buyer (us selling with NO chain too), buyer pulled out a day before we wanted to move. Estate agent didn't even try to get a reason why. Just a one line email saying the buyer had pulled out of the transaction. No phone call. Shocking company.
