Poor communication. Slow at getting things done. Don’t come back to you. Bad photography and then when we tried to exit our contract under the cooling off period they told us this was not relevant as we signed online and not in person!!! Would never recommend anybody to think about using them. Very unprofessional company. Very bad experience. Utterly disgusted with the company as a whole. So we had no viewings the whole time it was marketed. and now they are trying to sting us for £400!!! This has left a really bitter taste in my mouth. I know a lot of people in the area looking to sell and will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. They also left a full blown photograph of our 4 year old daughter online on the details and wondered why we asked for the property details to be removed from the website !!!

Chancellors have provided us with an excellent service. They are proactive in their approach and will actually try and sell the property, rather than sitting back and waiting for it to sell itself. Im particularly pleased we took the legals package, as advised by Alan. This meant Chancellors not only provided a great solicitor on the conveyancing (Jo Kent at Withy King) it also meant I had Lianne.. special weapons operative.. she can talk to all parties and poke them at will... solicitors are great, but they cant actually tell you much when you need to know what stage your buyer is at, how long something might take etc... Lianne on the other hand (Or any other specialist team rep, but I had her and she's fab) can talk to all parties - invaluable... Im so pleased we used Chancellors ... these guys will sell your house and are excellent to work with. I cannot recommend them enough.... Alan's great and very professional and Kevin has a wicked sense of humour that has kept me going when times were tough.... Chancellors, we salute you!

From the outset, Chancellors in Chesham proved to be the agent of choice to sell my Fathers house They proved time and again that they're knowledge of the local area and wider market was invalueable in securing a sale at a price I was pleased to accept I personally found Nicholas Richmond to be professional, engaging, friendly and a person who was honest and upfront, a real asset to the Chancellors name and to the Chesham office I would certainly use their services again

All in all chancellors was ok. We did have a few hiccups though. They were patient with us as we hadn't moved for over 30 years.! Do feel a bit more contact and info on how moving works in 2017 would have been helpful. Also we did have a wrong appointment booked which was just irritating. Chancellors was good at giving us feed back on viewings very quickly which was good . On the negative side don't feel they were always professional in their attitude e.g. Phoning us up while eating and trying to hassle us into moving earlier than we had stated.

We sold our house with Chancellors in a week! Plenty of viewings were quickly arranged and the team commitment to selling our property was clear. We felt that whenever we rang up, the person on the other end of the line knew us, our property and could deal with any query that we had because the level of personalised care is a priority at Chancellors. From the initial marketing by Nick, the manager, to all the hard work put in by Alan to ensure smooth completion, we always felt we were in safe and capable hands. We decided to use Chancellors in Chesham because of their great reputation, Nick Richmond, their director and a very nice chap came to value the place, I was pleasantly surprised at what he thought we could achieve especially as it was notoriously a very quiet time of year for house sales. Dan Hemsley took over the sale and within 10 days from the instruction to act as my agents, I had two offers on the table, one of which I accepted. They've all been very helpful and the communication has been second to none. I'm hoping not to have to move again, but if I was I would certainly use Chancellors again.

Their wonderfully efficient and helpful Melissa Hill has organised Chancellor's sponsorship, donations and support for two charity events I have been involved in recently. The worst Estate Agents I have ever dealt with in 10 years. So unprofessional and no one seems to have the slightest clue. I am constantly chasing for updates and reports that are outstanding. I am confused as to what I am paying for. Would definitely not renew my contract.

Very dishonest and unprofessional letting agents - possibly the worst of all. They have no clue what they are doing. Being a landlord for 10 years, I have never seen anyone like them and would definitely avoid them at all costs. Unfortunately, I had to learn it the hard way which costed me 2 months rent and loss of personal time chasing rent arrears from a tenant all because of their fault which they agreed to but gone back on it and denied to pay the losses.

I have genuinely never encountered such bad customer service. Once an offer accepted they literally don't care about their clients. They don't keep in contact or chase up the buyers and they hand you over to a separate office so noone seems to know what's going on.

Just finished our house hunt in Chesham, sampled all the agents really during our search and Alec at Chancellors was easily the best agent we dealt with.
