Finally exchanged contracts wasn't the best experience many issues ! Not the fault of the Bicester team ! I would like to thank them for there hard work.. Vinny,Adam ,Ben and Tanya in particular who did a great job 'selling my house' thanks Tanya 😀 Once sold the process of reaching exchange is dealt with by staff in an office somewhere else ! This proved difficult when needing to speak to anyone as you had to go through a telephone operator who passed a message on for you to recieve a call back ! Not great at all ! Often long waits before getting a reply ! Thank you vinny for dealing with this I now look falward to moving into my new home

I found Chancellors one of the better estate agents that I have dealt with. After placing an inquiry online I was contacted very quickly by a polite, courteous and professional lady called Matilda. Not only was she warm and kind in both person and on the phone she really made an effort to understand what kind of property I was looking for and other requirements such as budget, location etc. We had 2 viewings lined up incredibly quickly. After viewing Matilda was very keen to hear our feedback both positive and negative and took our comments forward in being able to recommend further properties. Very helpful, professional and I genuinely felt listened to. I would recommend them very highly.

A couple of years ago i decided to rent out my house. I used Chancellors purely because they had a let sign up in my street. Annie Walsh came to look at my house the day after i spoke to her and that afternoon had two viewings, both of whom wanted to rent my property. Impressive! Annie was also incredibly helpful with advice. As this was the first property i had let, i didnt have a clue as to my responsibilities and the procedure. I have used virtually all the estate agencies in the high street of Bicester and I have inadvertently left Chancellors last on my list. With hindsight, I can now say; that it was a big mistake. For twelve months I have kept swapping agencies from one to another hoping that the next one would do a better job than the previous one, but to no avail. Compared to the rest, Chancellors had quite unique ways of finding buyers and seeing the whole process through. All in all, I have had very few time wasters thanks to the stringent vetting process of buyers conducted by Chancellors with regards to affordability, especially when it comes to singling out potential buyers who were in a position to proceed with the purchase as opposed to the ones who just wanted to take a peek at what the property looked like from the inside. I have been kept informed throughout the process by Chancellors’ agents, by phone, text messages and emails. Feedback from viewers was always received for each and every viewing within a maximum period of 48 hours and without fail. My special thanks go to Vinny Kumar, the local Sales Manager who first visited our property back in late July and who highlighted to us the difference between Chancellors and the rest of the local agencies. He was so true to his words, they are world apart from their competitors. At Chancellors; they do not just advertise your property on their website or on some ‘Property For Sale’ portal, they do much more than that, they persevere and persist at finding you the right buyer and they eventually did and at the price we wanted within a matter of 60 days. Vinny is assisted by two young Sales Negotiators; Joseph Tustin and John Bouwer. Both Joseph and John were absolutely fantastic at their jobs, with a very professional approach to the way they conduct business both with the buyer and the seller. Thanks to both of you for all your efforts and your hard work. I have been so impressed with this team that my wife and I decided to buy the property we are downsizing to also with the help of Chancellors. It was a complete no brainer. Although we have access to our own legal team, we have also decided to use their legal and conveyancing department to complete this move, and so far so good, all legal procedures are being scrutinised and completed with military precision. I have therefore no hesitation in recommending Chancellors for anyone planning to purchase or sell a property in Bicester or the surrounding areas and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone named above for all their efforts and an excellent job indeed.

John Bouwer was our main agent throughout our house search. He was very friendly and helpful, always getting back to us if unable to take a call. He works harder and later than any estate agents I've met outside of London. We offered 3 times through him and finally got our property which completed today. He was very good about giving us enough time to do viewings and getting into the property during the buying process. I never felt that he gave up as soon as he had got the offer agreed. I have to say that Annie and the lettings team at Chancellors have exceeded expectations. Not having a load of faith of Estate Agents in this country, we embarked on letting our home. Annie was there whenever we needed her, and often when we left a message expecting that we wouldn't hear from her until the next working day, she was back to us before we could even think about it, re-assuring us that it would all be fine. The whole process, even with prospective tenant hic-ups, was as smooth as you could expect it to be - particularly at such a challenging time of the year. We both bought our house through Chancellors and now let it with them. I have experience of a number of letting agencies in the UK and Chancellors well exceed anything I have ever experienced. Annie is friendly, at all times 100% professional and goes out of her way to meet every wish and demand of Landlords. The organisation in terms of letting a property, inventory, communication, and care for the property is exceptional. We feel our house is in very safe hands and only wish there was a Chancellors in Northampton, where we have a house on long-term let. My wife and I have bought about a dozen houses between us over the years, and the process has usually been a vale of tears. Not for nothing does it rank in the top three most unpleasant processes to endure, along with bereavement and divorce. However, we are great believers in credit where it's due. The Chancellors staff we've dealt with have all done a first-class job, helping to lube the process wherever they could. Jennifer Dowden looking after rental issues, and Abbey Allan in the sales progression team, have both been a great help. They are the worst. Lie and change staff every week so no one knows what's going on they have to rely on notes. They let the landlord break the contract upon moving in, should have seen this as a warning. When I returned the keys same day of receiving them I was told to keep them and they will sort it out. A year later, my whole tenancy duration was full of lies, unprofessionalism. We have been given notice because the landlord is selling the property which is fair enough but now I see they have put it on the market for rent again. Lies after lies.

It's really disappointing. We moved from London to Bicester and rented through Chancellors. The contract included a clause about viewings because the landlord intended to sell the property, but this was NOT ONCE mentioned in person to us. After a year, we received notice because the landlord was supposedly 'keen to sell', only to see the property listed for long-term rent again. This means the next tenants will face the same issue. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Make sure to read every single word in the contract and don not let them rush you into signing it.
