I have had a great experience at buying me new first home

I have had a great experience dealing with Chancellors, Aysha and her team, were always quick in returning any information that I requested about the property that I was buying and kept me in loop if there were any delays involving with the vendors. Once offer had been accepted they were on the ball and making it as smooth as smooth as possible between myself and all parties involved. Alagie has been wonderful to work with. He has been quick and easy to communicate with, which is something I haven't gotten from some of the other agencies. Alagie was very knowledgable and what I appreciated the most was his honesty. He didn't make me feel pressured to commit to a property and advocated that I should take the time to think about where I want to live instead of settling. Coming to the end of a year long tenancy managed by Chancellor’s and they have been very communicative throughout. Landlord's perspective - terrible

From a landlord perspective, absolutely terrible. They picked contractors to do work which went wrong (plumbing leaks damaging my property). I replaced a shower and then a year later they told me it needed replacing again (no pushback to the contractor on my behalf). After a tenancy they started showing people round and only weeks later and having been advised to lower the rent did I discover the property had been left in a terrible state (they should have advised my after the first viewing). They also advised a tenant to change the locks (without informing me!) so at the end of the tenancy when I returned arriving late I couldn't enter and had to sleep in the car.
