GoogleCharles Lear are an exceptional estate agent. We purchased a house being sold by Charles Lear following a previous purchase falling through. From arranging viewings, through to completion, Charles Lear were fantastic, ensuring we were kept updated throughout the entire process and responding to queries in a timely manner. Moving house is a very stressful process, but with Charles Lear the process was smooth. In particular, Rebecca was a pleasure to talk to and work with throughout the process. Would 100% recommend!

The communication we received throughout our search was extremely efficient, providing us with immediate updates should a property meet our requirements. GoogleWe recently completed on a purchase where Rebecca Hyde was the lead agent acting on behalf of the vendor. We found her to be friendly, prompt and professional at all times. She always picked up the phone/ returned calls promptly and was a great facilitator of the whole process, even during the tense stages towards the end. In particular, she was able to arrange follow up viewings at short notice and gave some useful tips on moving to Cheltenham. When I collected the keys from the office on completion, I found the other staff to be welcoming and friendly. Its a nice office in a good location. All in all, we were left with a very good impression of Charles Lear & Co and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again ourselves.

GoogleI recently bought a flat in Cheltenham with Charles Lear as the vendor's agent. I found all the staff in the office extremely professional and quick to respond. There were a few hoops to get through as with any transaction and throughout Joe Brady did everything possible to speed things along and keep me informed. Great communication and responsiveness were certainly much appreciated.

Brigitte understood my requirements, In fact I requested few viewings and she told me that I was wasting my time and she was right. My personal circumstances were very is difficult and throughout the whole process consideration to my situation was given. Professional but yet personal service. Time was of the essence and Thanks to excellent management of all of parties we completed within 6 weeks. GoogleThe sale of Maidenham went exceptioally well. It was marketed superbly, pitched at exactly the right price and generated 10 viewings. The result was a sale, at the asking price with 5 days of going to market.That is an outstanding result and I completed the sale on 9th March 2022 which absolutely suited my circumstances and was at a time when covid restrictions were mainly in force. All the staff at Charles Lear were helpful, professional and efficient in all the dealings I had with them. But it was the main associate, Rebecca Hyde, whose persnal commitment, in the whole process, and with whom I dealt almost exclusely, that produced such an excellent result.I felt that, at all stages she"had my back" to ensure the that the sale went through smoothly. as quickly as possible and that I had a suitable place to live on completion. My solicitor was very good but it was Rebeca's pressure on all involved in the admittedly small chain that ensureed completion on time to meet my needs.. So, I attribute the success of what is a highly stressful process, to an excellent company but, in particular, to Rebecca's personal involvement. Her dogged determination, knowledge of the whole process, practical advice in the difficult moments were all key and conducted with such charm. I am a very satisfied customer and would stongly recommend Charles Lear for any house sale/puchase. I am particular indebted and grateful to Rebecca Hyde. Richard Johnson

Unlike with previous agents, they were personal, engaging, responsive and played an active role in determining the right marketing strategy and then actively marketing the property. A stark contrast to being made to feel like you are just another property for them to stick in their shop window and hope it may sell. Once a buyer was found they were equally as supportive and attentive through out the contracting, exchange and completion to handover process. We had a very tight time-line to move out of our rental flat and their support chasing both solicitors and the seller made us move in to our beautiful flat in Cheltenham just in time! And this was achieved for an unusual property at the end of the chain. And on top of all this, we enjoyed a personal service which you rarely find among the larger chains. Outstanding.
