Mark from Waterloo office went out of his way to help us find the perfect flat for us! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. He was open and honest about where we could negotiate and communicated well between us and the landlord, especially through the whole lockdown period. He handles clients with a great deal of respect, consideration and “let’s get it done” manner He has made himself available despite the 8 hour time difference. Listed Mill

Listed MillSavills staff - and particularly Jeremy Kemp - worked very hard to achieve the sale of a lovely converted mill which I unexpectedly found myself having to deal with, as administrator of the estate of a family connection. The late owner had died suddenly, leaving no orderly paperwork about the property and the restoration work he'd carried out over a long period, nor how to look after the mill pond. Jeremy went to great lengths to market the property and to show it at its best and his enthusiasm for the mill was a significant contributing factor in achieving a sale despite the difficulties of selling during the Covid-19 situation. I valued his judgement and experience in what was a very difficult situation, not least because I live a long way from the property. Thank you - job well done.

Renting with Savills

Renting with Savills when I first moved in to W1T there were a lot of major issues but the property manager Lauren Sullivan has been prompt in addressing them. I am very pleased with that. However giving 3 stars because I think some things are out of her hands and Savills as an agency in general is awful, especially during the move-in phase. this is my second time renting - Both times I am left aghast at how poor in condition these modern flats are.

We have recently purchased a property through Savills Wimborne Office. We dealt with Jamie Morten. It was a protracted and often fraught purchase because we commenced the purchase just before lockdown due to Corona Virus. Jamie is diligent, conscientious, offered good advice (even though his client was actually the vendor). He never failed to return my calls or emails speedily. He is very protective of his clients interest and we would definitely use his services should we ever sell this property. I will miss my regular conversations with him.

Savills gave us a first class, professional service from beginning to end. We were lead every step of the way by Peter Gillispie who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. The guidance and expert help we received from Peter was invaluable. We were selling our family home of over 40 years which was very emotional too and he was very sensitive to our situation. After being on the market for less than four weeks we had an offer a few days before lockdown. The deal was completely at the beginning of July and we were reassured throughout these unprecedented times that the Savills team were doing all they could. Peter went above and beyond and as a family we can not thank him and the Savills team enough for acting on behalf of us and securing a buyer in these times. Great buyer experience

We had a fantastic experience as buyers purchasing a property marketed by Savills of Petworth.We were able to get an appointment quickly, after seeing the good quality photographs provided on line on a property search website. We were met by Daniel, an Associate Director of Savills, who showed us round and was very knowledgeable about the property. We loved the house and made another appointment for a second viewing for the following week. However, our sister-in-law came to stay and as she is quite knowledgeable about property, we called up Savills to ask if we could have a viewing earlier. They were more than happy to accommodate us. We put an offer in straightaway and Daniel was very speedy in getting back to the vendors and then us to agree a sale price. He then helped as much as he could to move the transaction along by constantly liaising with the vendors, the solicitors and even our estate agent acting for the sale of our old house. Every time we called up, he was either available or got back to us very promptly not long after. He was always available on the mobile. His colleagues in the office were super friendly and sounded very professional. This is really what you expect when dealing with a company with the reputation of Savills, of being a higher end estate agent. We all know them as being a go-to agent if one is looking for a beautiful country estate or an expensive apartment in town, but maybe people don’t realise they have a variety of property on offer. Ironically, we happened to be visiting Petworth a few months’ ago and were looking at houses in the area. We saw the Savills office from the car park and I suggested we go in to see them, but my husband said there was no point - they wouldn’t have anything in the price bracket we were looking at!! Obviously big mistake! I would wholeheartedly recommend Savills of Petworth for anyone wanting a really good, extremely professional and proactive agent, whether you have a little cottage or a grand property with acres of land. From our experience, we would say you will receive the utmost attention and expeditious sale, whatever the size of the property. They were clearly acting well for their clients as we were persuaded up with our offer and were clearly in a lot of contact with them regarding the progress of the sale, but as purchasers, we really felt valued too. Unlike some higher end agents we could mention in rural Sussex, there is no hint of pretension or snobbery towards potential buyers, just enthusiasm, property knowledge and helpfulness all the way. We would like to thank them for helping us find the house of our dreams!

Great experience with Savills

I have completed the purchase of a property through Savills, Sholto Thompson was the main point of contact throughout.I have to say that my experience was very positive. From day 1 Sholto was very helpful and answered any question I had timely. While going through the process he maintained a good level of communication and he actually assisted with some chasing towards the end of the sale, as things seemed to have gotten stuck somewhere along the lines. I am sure his support helped in concluding the sale and made the process a little less stressful as completion was approaching. So a particular thank you to Sholto for all his help which didn't go unnoticed.I'll definitely recommend Savills to friends and keep them in mind for the future.

Just relating my experience in…

Just relating my experience in attempting to buy from Savills estate agency. Was told to come on Saturday at 11am and the sale of the apartments would be sold on first come basis. However a ticketing system was created for which people who turned up on Friday were allocated tickets in advance due to security concerns of the site. This was not communicated to the majority of people who arrived on Saturday. On arriving at 10.50am I was allocated ticket 23 as 1-18 were already given out Friday. The 18 ticket holders purchased the majority of the 20 apartments available and anyone who followed the correct procedure and turned up on Saturday was left with the remaining apartments. The professionalism shown here can only be described as a disgrace.
