I was very nervous about renting out my property so I asked several letting agents to talk me through the process but it was not until Helen Hency walk through the door that she put me at ease and I know that Elwell Taylor was the right agent to rent out my property. Elwell Taylor have been renting my property out since 2010 and I’ve not regretted the decision to use them as letting agent, in this time I have needed to update the kitchen appliances and between tenants I have decorated the property Elwell Taylor put me in touch with number of traders and we have been so pleased with the high standard of work we have used them on our own home improvement and recommend them to family and friends. I could not highly recommend Helen and her team that are always helpful nothings to much trouble, any issues are resolved very quickly and they regularly inspected with property, prices of minds with a professional friendly service.

I am less than impressed with this company. I tried to book a viewing with them and the lady on the phone was borderline rude and at the least very terse. I was polite at all times but made to feel as if i was doing something wrong by trying to book a viewing. Furthermore it took repeated calls to actually speak to someone. I have employed Elwell Taylor for the past 3 & 1/2 years to manage my domestic property in Chelmsford. I have found the service from this company, and in particular from Helen Hancy, to be exemplary on all accounts. They have chosen great tenants for me (4 times now) , have arranged to have any work required done quickly and efficiently at reasonable costs, and have always responded rapidly to any queries I have had. When I was looking for a company to manage my property as a new landlord I was told by others that "there are no good property management companies". Wrong! I wholeheartedly recommend them.
