I’ve experienced a lot of different estate agencies, and I can honestly say Beresfords have given me the best experience to date. They have communicated really well with me throughout my two year tenancy, and always show up on time. They liaise quickly with the landlord and never kept me waiting around to know the plan for any repairs that needed to be carried out, and are generally really on the ball. All the staff that visited for home inspections were always respectful and had a friendly demeanor.

Beresfords have been really helpful in supporting me to find rented accommodation. They were always friendly whenever I spoke to any members of the team. They answered any questions I may have and responses from the team were always prompt. They sent me lots of suggested properties prior to being posted on right move which meant I could book a viewing quickly. They were knowledgeable about the properties that I viewed and provided all information clearly. Confirmation emails of the time and place of viewings were also really helpful and prompt. Lauren in particular was helpful, friendly and always put me at ease. I have been really impressed by the service that Beresfords have provided, particularly when I compare this with other estate agents that I have dealt with. Thank you for all your time.

We had a poor experience letting from Beresfords Chelmsford.- Took our rent twice one month, and then took 20 days to return the overpayment.- Maintenance issues had to be chased frequently and still took many months to resolve or were never addressed. This included significant issues with the boiler not working in winter. - Beresfords team were repeatedly late or did not show up at all, for their own mid/end tenancy inspections. - The experience to get our full security deposit returned at the end of the tenancy was difficult I understand renters don't have much choice in which letting agent they end up using; my advice if you are using Beresfords is to be prepared to chase a LOT, keep written records of communication and to take and submit your own detailed inventory.
