Beresfords Chelmsford letting is really helpful for let out your property. I met Kris(Chelmsford branch manager) few years ago, he gave me very professional advices and deal with my property very efficiently. This time I used them to rent out a flat again. Kris and his team( James, Lauren) help me to set up quickly. James eagerly to find out the tenant for me and rent out soon after the property get into the market. really appreciate for their work. highly recommended!

Exemplary Team & Service

I naturally have very high expectations and I have to say that Beresfords consistently exceeded them. Our property, unexpectedly came up for renewal in November and I was incredibly concerned about the prospect of finding a new tenant with it being so close to Christmas. I spoke to Karen and she was absolutely fabulous. She reassured me, took control and skilfully guided us through the process. The entire team is simply superb, from Karen, Lauren M, Christopher, Lauren J, Abby and Leanne. They have a real sense of urgency and empathy, resulting in us securing new tenants in November. Each of them epitomise, efficiency, professionalism and tenacity. They continuously kept us up to speed on progress made and went beyond expectations. They work tirelessly hard to do the best for both tenant and landlord. An absolute joy to work with alongside a great outcome for landlord/tenant!

I had a wonderful experience with Beresfords. Eleanor was such a professional lettings consultant with great knowledge of the area. From the beginning the client care was very specific and bespoke to my needs. I was contacted frequently in regards to a range of properties and given advice with lots of guidance from the letting consultant. Eleanor is particularly experienced and as I am still new to the area it was great to have her guidance and support. She is confident friendly and highly professional.

Hornchurch Branch very poor service

I see a property for sale with the Hornchurch Branch. I phoned on the 30th to ask to view and was told no more viewings until new year. I walked passed the Branch just after and see two staff in there not doing alot. I then phoned new year on the 3rd to view on the 8th. Was told we do not do viewings on Sunday but one of our staff lives local and he is also doing another viewing. The time would be 11.30. Good news as it takes me a hour to get to the property. Had a call on Saturday 7th by the man who I was going to meet. He said he does not have a car and can we do next Sunday.?? I told him Someone else could view during the week and make a offer? I said I have made arrangements at my end as to get there as arranged. I did offer to collect him as he did not live far from the property. He said he would phone back. He did st 16.45. I missed the call and called back at 16.48 No answer, phoned again at 16.52 went through to main office switchboard. They emailed the branch to call me and said they don't shut till 5.30. I phoned again at 17.02 and 17.10 no answers and no calls back. So do I travel for an hour to get there at 11.30 Sunday 8th or do I not go as there will be no one to meet me. Absolutely very poor customer service. Good excuse for the guy who was meant to me as he phoned but no answer. So why did he not try again. If anyone is reading this don't try to sell your house with Beresford Hornchurch Branch they don't careComing back from your reply I did have my phone with me. There was No Call Sunday morning and with my partner I still attended at the original agreed time. And I did speak to a neighbour of the flat for sale talking about maintenance charge etc. Also today 9th Jan still have not had a call from the branch

Highly Professional, Thorough, Efficient and Reliable

All the various departments at Beresfords have been extremely helpful. We have had issues with the local authorities and gas safety engineer services over the years and the team (particularly Sara, Cameron, Lauren and Christine) has been great at helping to resolve these problems by contacting these companies and liaising between us, the tenants and the services in a professional and efficient manner.They are brilliant at communicating with us, the landlords, at every step of the way so we are always kept in the loop with what is happening with our property.We would highly recommend Beresfords as a Letting Agent as they are very thorough, professional, efficient and reliable.

She called me to get my specific requirements for my next rental property and she understood what I needed. After our initial chat, Hannah was on the ball. She was passionate and hard working always alerting to new properties not even on the market yet. She put me first and would call me as soon as a property (she knew I would like) was available to view. Showed me great customer services. I am delighted to say that when I chose Beresfords to act on my behalf to sell my property I made a very smart move. I dealt with Josh Auger in the Chelmsford office mainly although any other members of staff I spoke to were equally efficient and polite. I just got to know that Josh was working hard for me whether I heard from him or not. Over the years I have become tired of chasing Estate Agents for news or action. Not the case with Beresfords!Josh was always one step ahead with his polite no nonsense approach- efficiency personified.If I left a message there was no waiting for a week or more for a response- it was immediate. Flat Inspection

Sarah was great today when she did our inspection. Friendly and approachable she asked if we had any issues with the flat. When taking photos was mindful that my partner was working from home. She noticed our kitchen tap was dripping slightly and noted it so water wouldn't be wasted. A small detail which she picked up on and wanted to help sort. She did everything to a high standard and was respectful looking around the flat. Sarah is a great asset to your team at the Chelmsford Beresfords branch.

Thoughts from a property virgin

Beresfords Review

We was with Beresfords as tenants for one year, and was very impressed with the Customer Service shown by our Inventory Clerk (Melissa McGaughin) throughout our Tenancy. Melissa listened to our concerns and always gave time for any questions to be answered. When she conducted her Inspections, she was always polite, friendly and very respectful of the home. We had dealings with some other agents at Beresfords, where Customer Service sometimes came across rather poor at times when help was needed. Melissa was no doubt the best.
