GoogleI previously approached estate agents with a sense of trepidation because of previous bad experiences as both a buyer and seller. However William of Christies has changed my perception. I was on the buying end of the transaction and William’s communication was great, courteous and despite representing the sellers side, felt honest. If felt as though Christies as an organisation were vested in ensuring the purchase was as smooth as possible on both ends. It was a stressful purchase because of a litany of issues on the sellers end but William did his best to communicate with me, be honest and help push things along and that’s all I could really ask for. If I ever decide to sell up. I know who would be my first port of call.PositiveProfessionalism

Adam in particular was sooooo brilliant, he went above and beyond what he needed to do and always remained upbeat and positive. We also had a few laughs along the way. GoogleI recently inquired about several properties, I have received vague responses on viewing availability and timings. The agent did not return my calls twice. It is unclear whether these properties are really on the market or not. After viewing a property and inquiring about a similar property which clearly was in a better condition, the latter was made to disappear from rightmove.com leaving the potential buyer wondering whether the property is really available and what dynamics are at play behind the scenes. All this leaves any buyer dealing with this estate agent no confidence whatsoever in the process. Also they seem to have almost a monopoly in Cheam and they clearly take advantage of it with unprofessional and patronising attitude towards potential buyers.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

They stood above the competition in understanding us, knowing the market, advising on best sales strategies and then executing quickly and to a high professional standard with online materials and videos, buyer lists, viewings etc. Despite difficult challenges with the current lockdowns and delays with the legal processes through no fault of their own, Christies remained engaged and active - steering both sides with energy and building a trusted relationship which we could rely upon. Many across the Christies team (Will, Jack, Faye) were involved and all were professional throughout. Ricky, the area manager, deserves special mention - he rolls his sleeves up, is fantastically responsive, understand his customer and is clearly very good at what he does!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleDear purchasers and sellers, we originally bought our house through Christies 25 years ago and had a smooth transition into our “new” home, recently deciding to move to a more modest house, we looked at the team at Christie’s, after looking at other estate agents we decided to use them again, we cannot thank them enough, they go above and beyond the call of duty, they are always at the end of the phone with advice and have brilliant local knowledge.
