My only experience is with dealing with the rental side of the firm, specifically Graham. Whilst I'm sure he is great to deal with as a landlord, he is an appalling agent to work with as a tenant. Crucially, he lies - and frequently. If you are on a viewing with Graham, my advice would be to treat everything as fiction until you have it in writing - and then followed up with a phonecall. And make sure the property is acceptable to you on viewings - on no account will he arrange for any issues you spot to be resolved before you move in, irrespective of what he tells you. He will tell you he's spoken to the landlord, he will tell you he's 'arranged an electrician', he will even tell you that 'Andrew is now involved' - and none of these things are ever true. When it comes to sorting out issues, as a tenant you will be on your own.

Just giving update regarding the property I wanted to rent that Andrew Dawson estate agent was dealing, after I gave the honest review regarding how unprofessionally they deal , after reading my honest review instead of apologising this agent name graham slater tried to threaten me that as per my review the landlord is unlikely to want me as a tenant and next day I received a email that landlord don’t want to go ahead with my application. Now he already put me in difficult position once he did it once again but fortunately there are some nice and professional people Stuart’s estate agent who helped me move in in new property in 1day .

As a buyer I would not recommend this company.On 23 of May 2023, had a viewing appointment for one of their properties with the agent Ryan Mullender. Despite that i had email confirmation, he denied it , so I’ve decided to forward that. His asnwer? “ we not sure what happened “. Buying a property through such company made me think twice, so i had to cancel their proposal to reschedule. Ps: Respect the client.

Every interaction has been an appalling experience. They are rude and fail to ask even the most basic questions (e.g. what position is the buyer in or are they interested in any other properties?). Sadly it is a trend as my wife had the same experience dealing with another sales person (one was male, the other female - both terrible).

Ryan showed us a house in Cheadle and was really friendly and welcoming. He gave us time and space to look around, which wasn’t always our experience. We weren’t local to Manchester at all and he was the nicest agent we met, as well as knowledgeable of the local area.

When we moved out, this niceness quickly turned. It’s clear they are working in favour of the landlord and as tenants there is no thank you for keeping the property in good condition, they tried to keep all of the deposit amount, we went through a resolution centre to dispute this and ended up getting all of our deposit back. Just be careful if you rent with these people and make sure you take lot’s of photo’s on moving in as they lied and said damage that was already in the flat was caused by us, they tried to use photo’s as evidence that the marks weren’t there dated nearly a year before our tenancy start date.
