Andrew J Dawson from start to finish were amazing helping us secure the house we wanted whilst selling our house at the same time. This was all done within two weeks with getting our house photographed and on the market, people through the door and an offer accepted. Andrew and Rick were always keeping us up to date with any news and also helping to progress to completion which took just under 3 months. If we ever go to sell our house again in the future they will be the first estate agents on our list to use again.

Mike Keeling was very rude, belittling and patronising during one of my encounters on the telephone when I enquired regarding a property for sale in Cheadle. Long story short I really liked the property but didn’t bother putting an offer in because of the way I was made to feel. Poor customer service for a “recognised” estate agent in Cheadle.

As we were selling from a distance, they managed an open day for us and subsequent viewings which resulted in an acceptable offer within four weeks. They also recommended companies to carry out the EPC and house clearance, and took the utility meter readings for us on the completion day as we could not be there. Wouldn’t recommend renting through Andrew J Dawsons. Similar to other reviews I’ve seen, their loyalties definitely lie with the landlord. We were told that our move in was being pushed back a day so that they could “have the flat cleaned”. When we moved in the place was disgusting. Dead fly in the fridge, dried on urine on the toilet seat. So, plainly they were lying to us and didn’t seem to care. Won’t be doing business with them again.

I moved house on 3rd of October and this is my first chance to share my views. I chose Andrew Dawson as they were local and a small independent estate agents in cheadle. The worst decision I made in the whole process of selling my house. Poor impersonal service from the onset. Communication via emails average at best lacking any form of personal touch. Infact communication poor throughout would not recommend to anyone moving house.
