Having bought and sold a few places previously, I wish I had used Snowden Wilkinson earlier than I did. Unlike other agents, they offer sensible advice and let you make the decisions. The images of the property and the marketing were first class, and the staff work together as a team to get you moving with the least stress possible.

We initially chose Snowden & Wilkinson because they are local, not one of the nationwide chains. We made the right choice! From the initial visit through the marketing and sale process they were always letting us know what was happening (or not). They arranged 2 viewing afternoons for our property, during which there were 33 visits. They handled the offers, discussed them with us and then handled the "best and final" offers. They checked where in the process people making offers were and requested proof of funds. After the sale was agreed they kept us informed and dealt with any queries that we had very quickly. The staff are all very pleasant and knowledgeable. This was the first time that we had moved in 37 years so we were a little apprehensive but we needn't have worried. We are not looking to move again but if we do, Snowden & Wilkinson will be our first choice. I would recommend them to anyone.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I would highly recommend Snowden Wilkinson. Everyone in the team (Lucy, Beth, Millie, Josh, Ian & Grace) were friendly and professional and always on hand to answer questions and reassure us. A WhatsApp group was set up for arranging viewings etc. which helped us keep in touch during the initial selling part, and the team made sure that they responded to any messages really quickly. Lucy did an amazing job progressing the sale and we appreciated her patience and professionalism. What a fabulous, supportive and knowledgeable local estate agent, I can’t recommend the team highly enough, we had quite a rocky journey finding our house, after losing out to 2 homes previously. If you want a basic service to find a tenant this company is fine. If you rely on fully managed and need proactive letting management please avoid. Have used this agent for a number of years before being back in the uk and able to switch. One tenant left nearly £3k arrears and after two years of promising communication and payment plans they gave up and just said take her to court (however only info I had for her was 5 years out of date from a tenancy agreement- even though they said they had spoken to her and knew she was at a different address). Next tenant didn’t report significant damp following a roof repair leaving the house completely destroyed (not the agents fault of course) however after tenant moved out they allowed him to store his furniture for a further month, made no effort to sort contractors to redecorate etc (I pushed after a month and they said they didn’t have any). I was left in a different position but working away, I asked for inspection reports, a plan so I could pay for contractors, dates etc, just repeatedly ignored. I switched to Harvey Spenser and within two weeks all works on the house are complete and a new family is living in the property and a significant rent increase. Anything above the utter basics please avoid. They won’t be proactive and they will not communicate.

From the moment we first enquired about putting our house on the market to handing the keys over for the new owners, the communication has been amazing. We’ve always known where everything was up to and been kept in the loop at all times - this is something we have really appreciated as it was the first time we’d sold a house but the team at Snowden Wilkinson made something that seemed quite daunting at first, manageable and as stress-free as possible. We were really impressed with the pictures that Josh took of our house and the fact that it was advertised on various platforms. As a result, we had many viewings which were well organised and seamless which made it easy for us and our house sold in just over a week after going on the market! Every single member of the team has been professional, friendly and helpful whenever I’ve been in to the shop or spoken on the phone. Special shout-out to Beth who has absolutely gone above and beyond for us throughout the process with her calm and reassuring manner - she’s fab! They say moving house is one of the most stressful things you’ll do in your lifetime and if that’s the case then I couldn’t think of a better estate agents to do it with because they’ve been amazing. Snowden Wilkinson handled the sale of our flat in Bramhall and the purchase of a bungalow in Cheadle Hulme. The team proved to be very professional and efficient. Communication via a Whatsapp group was ideal from the initial visit to the final completion. Josh took brilliant photographs of the flat, showing everything to the best advantage. Beth handled the prospective buyers, dealing with viewings and offers. Madison then dealt with our bungalow purchase, providing advice and information as well as keeping us up to date on the whole process. All in all, a very good experience and we recommend them.
