Reserved a plot on the paddocks last week and really pleased with the service so far. Dave has been fantastic he has explained the whole process clearly and has put at ease any worries we may of had. The finish of the houses we have seen look perfect and we can't wait till we move in hopefully in March.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Since owning a property last year, there have been significant issues that, even today, have not been rectified. Read through other reviews before making and reservation. Customer service will take your complaint and sleep on it until your warranty is out or they have left the development. The major issue is that, none of the work is done by Tilia; everything is outsourced, they take no responsibility for any work. They don't have any standards, going with the flow seems to be their motto. NHBC only cares about the main structure of the property; they don't care about everything else; e.g., missing or broken bricks; is the wall straight; is the roof secure; was the insulation put up? NON is taken care of. NEW ISSUES POPING UP LEFT AND RIGHT. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Purchased a detached 3 bed at Castle Croft development. House is well designed and finished to an excellent standard and minimal snagging issues which have been dealt with swifly by site. Nothing is too much trouble and communication is extremely good. Have bought new homes in the past and not had the same positive experience. Would recommend.

Great communication from Brett throughout the build process and nothing was too much trouble with my 101 questions and emails! Ryan was brilliant when we moved in taking the time to show us where everything was and how to use heating etc. Great experience thanks!

Tilia were a great company to work with. Mandy , Kirstey and Rob who helped us at Grendon Point were fantastic. We had a few issues of course we did but they were all resolved speedily. It’s always stressful buying and selling and Mandy understood that. We love our new home. I’d definitely recommend them.

Visited castle croft tilia homes ,was greeted by an amazing representative in your sales office ,we were guided with the homes that were available,and questions we asked clare was so informative. She was just amazing and so helpful ,we returned the next day and decided to purchase with clares amazing help. It was so lovely to see such fantastic customer service ,she made us feel relaxed and happy with our decisions,she is certainly a credit to tilia homes , lovely to know there such remarkable help on a big decision when buying a home .many thanks Mr and Mrs Heptonstall.

Tillia has been disappoointing, especially concerning the roofing issues that emerged less than 2 years after construction, refusing to fix the poorly fitted tiles, blamimg the weather instead. All the tiles can be lifted by hand (Because of the weather, of course) With every wind we are having issues, if that is normal, go ahead and buy a new house from them.

NHBC: don't waste your time, just get the issues resolved yourself by a reputable tradesman & then take the developer & the NHBC to court for recompense - at least then you know the defect is rectified correctly & these idiots have yet another black mark against them & a poor Trustpilot rating; one of many!

Hello, we booked the house with Tilia Homes steeple view in July with a completion date of September October and the house is in the stage of being roofed.Although it was not the ideal plot, we booked it because it suited the start of school for our grown up daughter and the arrival of a new member in our family.After we booked, only the roof and windows were put on and since July no work has been done on the house. Although I asked them why the tiles looked as if they were from recycling, all the shades since then they didn't come up with a conclusive answer other than that maybe they needed to be washed or that the site manager was going to ask the roofing subcontractor.Other were the quality standards I was told when booking.When asked why no work was being done on the house they came up with answers that they didn't have workers as they had problems although that wasn't the real reason. After I paid the deposit and I did the exchange of contracts in August came the email from the sales agency informing us that the house will be ready for handover at Christmas time without any apologies.Now I have to commute 16 miles 4 times a day to take the little girl to school with the new born baby. If Tilia needs 5 Months to finish the inside of an average sized house and the quality leaves a lot to be desired, it shows in the tiles of our roof, I would like you to think twice when booking a house with them so you don't suffer as we did.

I bought the house new when it was Kier . It was the ex- show home and had a few snaggs to put tight of which the sales person on site confirmed was going to be done . However after moving in I chased a date for the items to be done and had responses that they would send a worker in to measure up (new kitchen fronts were required due to originals being damaged) this was done x3 times with x2 years . Due to sales staff leaving I then had to keep emailing different people with all the emails confirming the sangha were agreed. I am now nearly x3 years down the road Kier is now Tilia and they have not been replaced . Again last week I chased and was requested to send the emails agreeing to the work . I have done this and still no confirmation that the fronts will be replaced this is just shocking after sales service .

If I could give a no star I would. Bought a new build Tilia house in Driffield. Completion delayed 5 months, even going past long stop date. Worst was to come though because a week or so after moving in we discovered we had not 1 BUT 2 GAS LEAKS !!!! And this dispite having a fully signed off Gas Safety Certificate. Had to have new carpets lifted, holes in floorboard & wall to find one leak which was due to someone having drilled a screw into the gas pipe. Also paid an extra £3450 for kitchen upgrade and what we've been given is certainly not up to standard. Worst thing is Tilia Northern Customer Service will simply not engage with us. Emails go unanswered, so rude & disrespectful and stressful. Bad service for a 73 year old just having gone through cancer treatment. Tilia just don't care.

Where do I start as I have a lot to say.Firstly, Mark, although not with Tilia anymore was outstanding. Totally professional and confident in what Tilia offers which has turned out to be very true. I recall clearly how he allayed our worries when there was a customer who was protesting services which would naturally worry an intending customer. He was confident and convincing about the services Tilia provides and I can now confirm this to be true. I know no system is perfect but I can say they have delivered excellent service in this case.Charlie, you are one amazing fellow, it’s a shame we have not met at the time of writing this but know that you made our wait seem like a breeze. He carried us along every step of the way, giving us video updates about our property. One little thing though Charlie, I think you need to dump that phone 🤣🤣 cos the camera did not do justice to the quality of work that you guys did. Our property is a million times more beautiful than what we saw in the videos. Thank you so much, you are a 🌟.Vinnie, oh my, met you for the first time on the house tour, you are an asset to this team. Took us through every bit very patiently and treated us like you’ve known us for ages. Thank you for all your help and how you’ve resolved any concerns we have. You are very protective of your customers and look after us well. You are simply amazing. Thank you.Sophie, thank you for the beautiful welcome and the packs too. Thank you for patiently taking us through everything.Tilia and the Verdant Rise team, we are very pleased with what you have delivered and I hope every other customer has the same experience. We moved into our Tilia home in August this year (2023) we absolutely love it!! We have so much space.. the house is such a high specification especially the kitchen and bathrooms. We have had a few issues but nothing is too much trouble for the site manager and his team .. Ben, Richard and Will have been excellent! David from Symphony kitchens came to sort an issue we had with our kitchen island .. he was unbelievable staying later than expected to finish the job we are blown away by the care taken by him. Ben often knocks to check all is ok and if we have any questions or problems. The site is always clean and all the builders are friendly and polite. Super happy 😃 thank you so much for making our move a happy one. Michelle Rich and Abbie x
