GoogleI suppose during a Covid Pandemic doesn't seem like the best time to buy or sell a house but My father needed to Downsize due to his age and failing health. Julian and his team were fantastic in finding a property that ticked all the boxes for Dad, Managing the sale of his own property and finding a good price for it too. Not only were they professional but the personal attention to detail and duty of care that the had shown to my father and his circumstance was above and beyond the call of duty. GoogleWe recently dealt with Sherry Fitzgerald Castleknock when purchasing a new home. We found bidding on the property via the website very transparent and helpful. Julian and the rest of the team were very professional and personable. Julian was very helpful throughout the whole process even after we went sale agreed. We felt as purchasers we were equally valued as much as the vendor would be. We would high recommend this branch for its service and professionalism.

We as a customer we have right to know what is the reason for unsuccessful. I have applied for more than 10 houses not even one I got a viewing. I understand there is a huge demand and applications. But I have applied at the very first moment it is posted. We are a full time working with clean record and I have mentioned it to them in my intro. I really don't understand how transparent they're in this process. It leads to doubts of internal dealings and unfair procedure. I appreciate you technology of automated process but when customers are spending time to fill in details and showing serious interest. Isn't your options to take your time in reviewing the application fairly to give an opportunity for the serious applicants.

My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

As recent purchasers of a residential property in Co. Wexford facilitated by vendors auctioneer Aisling McGrath of Sherry Fitzgerald Haythornthwaite. We would highly recommend Aisling and her colleagues in branch who offered a skilled and professional service from virtual viewing, right through to on site viewing and handover. Aisling ensured that there was a constant line of communication between vendors and purchasers and really went the extra mile to close the sale in a timely manner. 5 star service all the way !

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.

The actions taken by the third party were unprecedented, and in our 40 years of business we have never encountered such a situation before. As we previously communicated with you, once we were made aware of this incident our team proactively brought the matter to a close. We have investigated the matter in full and despite it being highly unlikely such an incident will ever re-occur, we have put extra precautions in place to protect our clients. The unauthorised actions taken by the third party were inexcusable and beyond our control. We hope that now your sale has closed you can put this distressing incident behind you. GoogleHi all, We ultimately did not buy from S Fitz but I would really like to express my huge thanks to Michelle Curran for her professionalism, time, patience and advice. I know my sister sold with them and she was very happy. Some facts that I can back up if people need: We are one year after our purchase and the overbidder on our other preferred property (10 months ago) has still not materialised. This is a concern for me. We were also underbidders on another property 15 months ago, and that remains on market. This is another concern for me. I am fully aware auctioneers need to listen to vendors and bidders and take documentations / bids at face value, but both of above are fact. Just because somebody has the money does not mean they will close the deal. Aware this is probably a regulatory issue. Hope this helps some people. Kind Regards, David

Maria was absolutely fantastic, between being superb negotiator and getting our place on sale agreed within a month, to amazing communicator during the after sale agreed toward closing. We are so grateful to Julian, Michelle and the team in the Castleknock office for the highly professional, efficient and supportive service they provided for our elderly mother in the recent sale of the family home of 58 years. The house went on the market shortly before the lockdown and despite this we managed to complete the sale on 26th June. We were kept informed every step of the way and they were accessible and responsive if we had any questions. They always had our mothers safety and wellbeing as a priority. As a family we would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald.

Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald tallaght. Mislead about a few things during the already stressful process of buying apartment. I was told on a couple of occasions that furniture was included so I gave all my furniture to charity shop, only to find a completely empty apartment to move into. Have to now spend money I don't have to buy a whole new set of furniture on Christmas week. Very unprofessional people.
