Wish 0 was an option. You cant even open Facebook anymore without imidiatly being met by fake ads, fake news, fake profils, animal abuse videos, scam porn ads/ videos/ profils. A lot of Facebook groups are not functional due to the heavy load of fake profiles and ads and so on. It's disgusting. I have stopped using Facebook. Date for experience? Well every single day.

FB Marketplace a scammers paradise.I'd say more than half of the adds are scams in Marketplace. Many have clearly created fake profiles, use google stock images as their pictures, fake jobs and history. I did try and flag a particular seller to FB and an automated response (Probably some AI nonsense) said that it was genuine despite the individual not existing, fake profile pics, fake job, fake location etc etc. BUYERS BEWARE

0 stars There are so many fake profiles of Sheikh Hamdan of Dubai, and i have them adding me as a "friend" and messaging me.I reported them to facebook and they did not remove their pages, this should be a security issue for online users as they are scamming people.

Facebook has a built in App, and because of this, and two other reasons I got scammed by some of this company clients, and it been about five years, and five months since then, and I still haven't been able to get that money back, and nor have I been able to get a goodwill gesture for it, and nor have I been able to lay criminal charge on those that scammed me of it, and the reasons are that my local police hasn't forwarded my report to the police service of the destination that I sent that money to but, they haven't done so because that police service is a criminal, and my report contains some of personal information so I can't blame them for deciding to keep my report instead of forwarding it to that police service, and that I used the Wire Payment option to send those payments (Banks don't consider Wire Payments scam so when one or, more clients file a Fraud Claim with them for one or, more Wire Payments they decline those people Fraud Claims. Wire Payments are expensive to send but, back then they were the only way I knew for sending international transfers), and that it been more than 90 days since I sent them (once it is more than 90 days since a payment has been sent banks can't investigate them, and because of this I can't appeal my bank decision of declining my Fraud Claim), and it been sometime that my facebook account isn't working well, and it not getting better at doing so either. The date that I've picked for my experience for this review is when my Facebook account stopped working well, and I believe that it approximate.

It been a very long time I have been on facebook, and a while ago i saw to need to get back on, so I registered with my enterprise email address, added all necessary details asked and the next thing facebook showed me, is "I disagreed with the decision". My wife's account has been hacked and the passwords changed along with the email address and I have tried and tried to recover it with their stupid automated help responses to no avail,worst of all not even a help call line to call, what a pack of azzholes. So now we are trying to make contact with everyone we know to delete her off their accounts, si frustrating. I'd give zero 0 if it was available

This is the worst marketplace I ever used with no support from FB. For every product I listed I received interest from many scammers every day. Here in UK it's easy to figure out who's try to cheat you. Non of courier companies offer delivery or collection for cash to hand. Other suspicious messages are for extra insurance that you have to pay.... etc. I reported them to FB and it should be reviewed but after weeks nothing happens with any of them.

The social media platform has a serious problem with scammers, they will work in a organized manner to lure victims into offers, for advice or rewards through posts.These criminals would instruct people who are interested by telling them to go to different platforms to have a further discussion one-on-one. They will ask for any sensitive information to get unwanted access.Honestly, this is deeply rooted in the algorithm that it's hard to avoid from a mere search or link. Definitely a bad place for marketing purposes and interaction with ads.

I use FB marketplace often and i’d Like to see them develop a better way to keep history of items purchased. My attempts to find seller info, prices, item descriptions, etc has not been easy. I request that this info be on the method of payment and under my name and account. I also would like to see facebook make it possible to combine accounts. By mistake, I have 4 accounts and have to visit each one to find my info. Please make it possible to have 1 account, be able to combine friends into one, all info consolidated.

FB marketplace is RIDDLED with scam postings: electric bikes, hi-fi's, furniture; you name it. All over the country, different IDs, often all using the same photos, stupidly cheap. I used to report them but gave up. The ads reappear in minutes. It's a full-time job, and FB does eff all about it, despite their being v easy to spot. There MUST be easy-to-apply algorithms to stop this. Irresponsible from a site owner...

I have just had the report back from facebook on the latest one I reported and.... yes, you've guessed they didn't take it down just like all the others, as scammers and hackers are allowed on facebook. I was going to share the screenshot of it but there was no way on here to upload files.

I’ve never really had a problem with them but recently a family member used their platform and clicked onto a link which we now know is a scam. You need to do more as a company to protect your users from removing all these ads and fake links to websites. If you permit the scammers to advertise on your platform then you are indorsing their business.
