I recently purchased a property with the help of Cumbrian Properties. Rebecca was my key contact, she was friendly and professional and very helpful all the way through the process. Rebecca also promptly returned calls and emails on every occasion. The whole transaction other than the pick up of keys was completed remotely. The lady who handed over the keys on the morning after the completion was fab. Great local independent estate and property management company, locally based employees with great knowledge of the market place looking for mutually beneficial outcomes for both vendors and purchasers. Susan!! Cumbrian properties offer the best service in person and over the phone. They are easy to contact and get the job done for you. Moving house is already stressful so letting Susan deal with it all was so nice and easy. You get dealt with by one person and don’t have to discuss your information thousands of times with loads of different staff. All round brilliant service! As this is my first time renting I can not praise Cumbrian Properties enough for making the transition as seamless and painless as possible. Sue went above and beyond to get me into the property within my very tight time constraints with about 2 weeks between viewing and getting the keys. The rest of the team have also been incredibly engaging by helping me transition the bills and tax into my name whilst also offering advise on the best service providers available. Sue also spent a considerable amount of time explaining the various aspects of the contract to me and the options available for paying rent and extending the tenancy agreement. There is no other estate agent in the area who knows the business better. I have used Cumbrian properties for the last 30 years, having sold at least 10 houses through them, and have purchased a number of houses through them. I have never found fault with any aspect of their business, they are professional, courteous and super efficient. Always keen with their rates and enthusiastic in their work, I have never had a house on the market for more than 4 weeks before they have managed to sell it. Ann has been the most dependable 'go to' member of staff for many years, and she has always given the job 100%, and never fails. We have used Cumbrian Properties lettings services for a long time to rent out a house. In all those years they have always been 5⭐️ the staff always keep you in the loop with tenants, issues, gas/electrical certificates etc. The ladies are worth their weight in gold and provide an excellent service from the lettings through to their maintenance department.
