Hayley Grota from the Cardigan branch has been fantastic throughout our purchase - she communicated with all parties involved without hesitation and was extremely pro-active in keeping things moving and understanding the situation. I would recommend Hayley to any prospective clients - there was no question as to her full support at any time.... The only down side was when we collected keys, they were handed through a closed door with no welcome pack or confirmation that we were the owners - no I.D or introductions in person - the actual customer service on the day we collected the keys from the office was quite disappointing after waiting over 5 months and dealing with countless challenges - it was a bit of a let down having become excited new home owners and the keys just handed through the office door in an old brown envelope like they had just been lying around on the desk.... Hayley`s service was the best part of the whole transaction....... :)PositiveResponsiveness

Just awful

I have bought and sold several houses in my life, but John Francis, in Cardigan, is the bottom of the pile when they were selling my property. In all my years I have never had such appalling service from an agent - they don't respond to emails, they don't return calls, they ignore any requests for information and ignored my feedback form. Something is definitely amiss with this company from my experience. Their communication & organisation of their Cardigan office is just not at a level that will ever achieve a sale. Weeks later and I still await some form of contact from them after several emails to them. They have not even responded to me after completing their feedback form and phoned to remove my property from them.

I have worked with all of the john…

I have worked with all of the john francis office for nearly 20years not all is as it seems with a few of these reviews ,one wer the decking was rotten, I actually worked on ,I attended and told jf most of the decking was rotten and a lot of the sub base was as well ,to be told by the llandlord I only want the bear minum, ie only change what is rotten not anything else ,so that us what was done ,I attended many times with tenants issues, full gutters ,windows blown ,etc to be told llandlord will not have it done ,she also new of the dogs as was requested when tenancy started ,im not saying jonh francis are the best they make mistakes as do all ,but there is always another side

Poor communication and service

We put our house on the market around 3 months ago with a local branch and had a few viewings in the first couple of weeks. Recently had 3 viewings booked in but nobody turned up and we weren’t informed, so we think they were phantom viewings for whatever reason. Really inconvenient after all the cleaning/ tidying involved. They do not communicate, would definitely not recommend.

From our first discussion with the branch manager Daniel, we have been looked after in an exemplary professional manner. All discussions have been dealt with honestly, efficiently, and most of all, pleasantly. Well done everyone. We would never go anywhere else. Jeanette & Roy, Carmarthenshire. In addition to our property, they have just sold my mothers bungalow. She has previously had bad experiences with Estate Agents, letting buyers move into her house before completion & under-pricing her property in order to get a quick sale, (and the list goes on.) She has nothing but praise for this team. They gave her a fantastic valuation price and sold the bungalow very quickly indeed. There were the usual up's & down's of conveyancing, but everything was dealt with quickly and professionally. It made the process stress-free for her, and at ninety-years-old, she couldn't have wished for a better service.

When we were looking to buy a house in Pembrokeshire a few years ago we viewed dozens of houses and had dealings with all the local estate agents. Back then John Francis was always the best, always the most proactive and well-informed. That's why we chose John Francis when the time came to sell our house. Daniel's extensive knowledge of property in the area meant we got a very fair valuation on the property, he spent a long time with us taking some really good photos, and the rest of the team were fantastic for the entire time it took to sell the house. Our house had quite a few quirks and wasn't suitable for a lot of people, so we had to do a lot of viewings but the staff at John Francis Cardigan kept going and continued to keep us informed and provided feedback on every viewing. Many thanks in particular to Daniel, Rhian, Kimberly, Hayley and Andrew.

Absolutely disgraceful estate agents

Absolutely disgraceful estate agents. Made me travel 4hours for a viewing after I placed an offer I ly to tell me on the day there were other offers. They had 2 weeks to Inform me. Got there to others also viewing the property when I was told this viewing was just to confirm my offer. Absolutely time wasters and just push for viewings to have bidding wars! Not the first time this has happened.

Rented a property through John Francis…

Rented a property through John Francis returned our keys on the 4th April still waiting for the return of our bond. Property inspected on the 8th. Lanlord confirmed they were happy to release the bond. Was told by the property management company that the money was returned by bacs on the 9th. Still not received it rang today told to ring My Deposit Scheme as they were responsible for returning it on the 9th. Rang My Deposit to be told they never held the money !! Found out it was held by Countrywide who f8nally said it hadn't been released but it would be released by bacs today. John Francis totally
