When we decided to sell our home we contacted Daniel Rees from the Cardiff office who I must say was very professional, he came out to do the initial survey himself and then arranged for the photographer and the rest of the team to come and do their part, that having being done he then produced an excellent brochure which to me was the selling point. Support from the staff at the Savills Sales office at Cardiff Pointe was excellent. We had viewed several properties in the development in the company of Alyson Rees and had not decided if it was right for us. We subsequently rented a house on the development and as such were in regular contact with Alyson and when the house we purchased became available we were the first to hear about. Throughout the negotiations of the purchase and completion of the legal aspects the professionalism of all Savills staff, and Alyson in particular, was exemplary.

We moved from other agents who had not been successful in selling our house at a guide price £40,000 lower than Savills', yet Savills sold within a fortnight, It took four months to bring the sale to contract, due to complications in the chain, but Savills worked hard to prevent its collapse, especially towards the end when it was a case of "touch and go". The entry on the property websites was outstandingly good, well illustrated by excellent photographs and this, coupled by Savills' list of interested buyers, resulted in considerable interest the moment our house was placed on the market - something we have not experienced before. Mixture of experiences. Property offer accepted October 2020. Sale completed in December 2021....almost 14 months later! The house that we purchased was finally ready for the sale much later than when the offer was accepted. It was a bit stressful, as one can imagine! The agent who dealt with us was very good and prompt and it appears that there were many things out of his control, which delayed the actual sale to us by so long.
