Highly recommend all staff in Whitchurch!!

All of the staff at Hern and Crabtree in Whitchurch have been helpful and friendly in our experience. Jan Street who is the sales progression manager was particularly helpful. It’s been a stressful experience as we were getting very close to our baby’s due date. Jan was exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to try to move the process along to completion. I cannot speak highly enough of Hern and crabtree. They are professional and personable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The best estate agent I've ever dealt with!

I would like say a massive thank you to Lance and the letting team for all they have done. It has been the best experience from an estate agents I've ever had. Moving as a tenant can be stressful but they were polite, understanding of my needs and made my whole process with them painless. They were quick to respond even though the covid pandemic. Hern and Crabtree have been absolutely brilliant! They came to value my property within a day of me getting in touch and within 24hrs it was loaded up on Rightmove. I needed a quick sale and the team were great. I had viewings booked in within days and my property sold within 2 weeks. They kept in touch regularly and were all so friendly and helpful. From the very start Jane talked me through the process and provided plenty of helpful advice. Outstanding service througout the whole process

Having just sold our home through Hern & Crabtree and purchased through a different estate agent company in Rhiwbina, the difference in service, professionalism and attitude could not have been more different. From the initial valuation, Anthony - Manager @ the Heath office - filled us with confidence regarding the process and what level of service we could expect, and throughout, Anthony and his colleagues in the Heath office, did not disappoint. The valuation was accurate and his promise of viewings was spot on (20 in the first weekend!!), which meant that we were able to achieve over asking price by leveraging the initial interest in our house.Special mention also to Jan, sales progression, who frankly puts many other estate agents and solicitors to shame. In this age of technology there is no reason why accurate updates can’t be provided in a timely way, and those who tried to do as little as possible and let things ‘trundle’ along, were given short shrift by Jan...who kept in regular contact with all parties in the chain to ensure we exchanged and completed in good time.Having moved a number of times this is one of the few that I have genuinely felt that the estate agency has earned their commission, and this review!! We have recommended H&C to a number of friends and they have been equally impressed by what they’ve seen & experienced. Another fantastic experience with Hern & Crabtree. The photography and presentation of the property was first-rate, but most importantly the communication with the team at the Llandaff office is always excellent - they are friendly, incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make the process as smooth as possible - the peace of mind it gives knowing you can pop in for advice at any time cannot be underestimated. I have used them for numerous house sales/purchases over the years - in my experience Hern & Crabtree is by far the best estate agency in Cardiff and very highly recommended.

The Hern & Crabtree was our choice when we decided to sell our home in Cardiff last summer, and it was the BEST DECISION we ever made. They were outstanding, very professional and very friendly.We spoke with Tom, from the Hern&Crabtree, on the phone and then we met with him at our home. He answered all our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on the property market in the area.Tom came back to us with very realistic and fair valuation; then, within a few days Ben, from Hern&Crabtre, came to our property to take the pictures of our apartment. Everything was very quick and smooth.And ...when we saw our listing we were blown away. Their hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing!!!! Our situation was also quite specific and different than other people since we were moving abroad; and our property went on the market after we moved. The team from Hern & Crabtree Pontcanna office took care of everything: they regularly came to check on our property, informed us about all viewings before and after, and they replied to any email or any call promptly. And yes, they managed to sell the property very quickly for a price greater than our asking price was.They have been there every step of the way. Start to finish - Great team. Sensible advise on selling price and showing our home for marketing to SELL. Once buyers secured the progression team (Jan Street) good at keeping us updated and staying calm in our mini crisis when our buyers buyer pulled out, but thankfully our buyers secured new buyers. Have received excellent service from all at Hern and Crabtree, Heath. We sold on our open day for the full asking price. Everyone has been most helpful, professional and efficient. We dealt with Anthony and Stephanie mostly, as well as progression chaser Jan. Have no complaints at all and, having moved a few times, Hern and Crabtree, Heath, are by far the best we have experienced compared to other Estate Agents we’ve used.Jan, who I believe is based in Whitchurch branch, has been really great at chasing the progression of the chain and has kept us updated with frequent feedback. If we ever decide to move in the future I would certainly use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Our house was Managed by Hern and Crabtree for 10 years and then sold by them in June 2018. We have therefore had experience both of their lettings and sales teams.I think that one main thing that makes this Company stand out from the rest is that the team are very knowledgeable and approachable. We were given a realistic selling price for our home, and subseqently this resulted in a fast sale. Mike and the team were brilliant helping us with our recent property sale. They kept us informed all of the way and helped us achieve a great price for our property. The photos of the property were brilliant which definitely helped us get a large number of viewings.
