I enquired about a property I could comfortably afford, but the way I was spoken to by one staff member was completely unacceptable. While I understand there are legal procedures to follow, there is no excuse for being rude, raising your voice, or speaking to someone as if they are lying about their finances. A second staff member later called and explained the same procedures in a calm and respectful manner, which just highlights how unprofessional the first interaction was. Based on this experience alone, I would not feel comfortable having this estate agent manage a property I live in.

They made our life a living hell. We rented with them for 4 years on Taff Embankment and here are some of the issues we had to endure: - No hot water and heating for a month during winter. We spent Christmas without heating and hot water. - Water leaking through the ceiling and electrics for 3 months. The first few weeks we moved in water started pouring through the ceiling. Despite sending numerous emails and calling they failed to repair it for 3 months. Buckets were filling up with water. - They claimed the flat was professionally cleaned when we moved in yet we found a used sanitary pad in the bathroom. Everything was covered in dust and grease and we had to clean for hours to bring it up to an acceptable standard. - Mushrooms growing on the walls. There are mushroom growing on the walls in the hallway. We cleaned it regularly but they grow back because they don’t fix the water leaks. - Walls are covered with black mould. Same story as with the mushrooms. - Black rats running around inside of the flat and walls. Rat’s have been an issue in the last 2 years because they didn’t fix the wholes in the house. They told us we have to deal with the rats after the council came and identified several entry points that are literally wholes in the walls where the rats can get in. The council pest control also clarified they found our flat clean and the wholes need to be fixed. There were constant screeching and scratching noises from behind the walls and when we actually saw a black rat inside the flat we decided to move out. Only then they filled the wholes in with expanding foam. - Water leak through the carpet. The rats chewed the water pipes multiple times causing water leaks. There was a leak where the water flooded the carpet and we just couldn’t clean it even with industrial carpet cleaner we rented. The smell was intolerable. - Not getting back our deposit. We moved out two months ago and our contract ended 25 days ago and we don't know what's going on with our deposit. They refuse to tell us how much we can expect and lied about initiating the process with DPS. To summarise, dealing with this agency was infuriating, the worst we have ever experienced. Save yourself from the struggles we went through and find another agency. Definitely don’t rent any of their properties on Taff Embankment.

I do not recommend, after i paid my holding deposit and providing all the references they required they refused to give me the room or return my deposit. I qualified for the room having given proof of my income. I feel like i was robbed out of my hard earned income. They are still advertising the property online. This is daylight robbery , watch out

I just like to say what a great team at Harry Harper very down to earth and friendly with great customer service, especially Sita, was great to speak to as I felt that I have knowing her for years. As I was struggling on few words and she asked me politely if I speak Indian language Punjabi and I said she as she was so kindly translated into my mother tongue. I must say this was so great for me as Sita made me feel so welcome, so on that note I was happy for Sita to look after me, I must say it's great going to an office and the staff can help other by speaking other languages. Once again a big thank you to the team at Harry Haper as I will highly recommend family and friends.

We needed to sell our flat at Victoria Wharf. Karan had a wealth of experience with the development having sold her own properties there. Our apartment was put on the market quickly and the sales details attracted buyers very soon afterwards. We had a full asking price offer after 2 days. Although the sales process was slow due to circumstances outside Karan's control, she kept us updated and helped where possible. As I was buying my first house, I didn't really know what to do... after viewing a few properties with many agents in Cardiff, Harry Harper really stood out. Jordan was very helpful and explained what I needed to do to buy with a friendly disposition. I was put in touch with their mortgage advisor who broke down the process for me, and really helped me understand what I was signing up to and found me a mortgage that I could afford. After offering on my house, Nathan helped my offer along and had it accepted very quickly. I was offered the services of a solicitor that I accepted; they were really helpful! Nathan was always on the phone to me informing me on what was going on, I couldn't believe I had bought my first home house and was so excited! Finding an agent who actually gave me help and advice was exactly what I needed! Great service, amazing personal contact from both Nathan and Jordan, thanks for all your help!

Mel has been an absolute star throughout the whole process of buying our first home! As a first time buyer I had no idea where to start. Harry harper have been great! Couldn’t recommend them or rate them any higher. I have just let a property with them and had to move from quite far away for work. They were so understanding, amenable and helpful. Brian has been such a superstar throughout. He always responded to my emails and query's super fast. The process is super straight forward with use of handy apps for you to track also. I hadn’t met Brian/or any of the team/ or seen the property in person till picking up the keys and still such a great warm welcome. Also the property is everything I was promised and more.
