It's a Yes from me for Wards at Strood!

From the moment I signed up with the team at Wards in Strood, I knew I had made contact with the right estate agent. I highly recommend them for their attention and care for their customers namely Abby and Anouska. After Abby got an understanding of the type of property I was looking for she constantly kept me up to date with new properties that had come up. It was a long journey, but she was always very supportive and encouraging. Anouska worked tirelessly when I finally found a property, constantly calling to keep me in the loop and reassuring me that all was going to plan. Anouska is a good listener, makes time for her customers and never makes you feel like you are bothering her with any questions you have. My journey with Ward has been fantastic and I am happy that I found my new home through them. You will not be disappointed.

Emily Thorndycraft helped my sister in finding a rental accommodation. My sister's accommodation situation was tricky as she is fleeing the war in Ukraine. Emily was professional and personable at the same time. We were so happy to find accommodation that suited relatives with children. The reference checks were quite fast, guarantor went through that reference checks too. Emily and landlord have speedily done accommodation makeover before the actual move. Thank you!

Great Service - Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor, Lower Gillingham

I am giving a 5 star review just because our delayed 7 month chain of selling our property and purchasing a new one was a very long, painfully stressful experience as there were multiple issues from our buyers end, however, our Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor (Lower Gillingham branch) made every effort to prioritise our case, constantly chased for updates and she kept us updated throughout. There were many occasions where she was working on her days off, constantly chasing our buyers solicitors, his lender, his mortgage broker etc and it was evident that Kim felt our pain and frustration, felt empathy towards us, and so went out of her way to push things forward with the powers she had. She is also very friendly, positive and enthusiastic over the phone which is always nice. With the stress we experienced, especially with nearly losing our property due to the excessive delays, it made such a difference having Kim on our side, as she clearly takes pride in her role and does it well.Many thanks for your efforts Kim, your persistence and competence contributed towards our sale and purchase EVENTUALLY moving forward to completion!!! I would also like to mention other members of Wards such as Gary Sneddon, Michael and Jenny based in the Gillingham branch, who also made efforts to work on our case and chase the necessary parties when we requested them to do so. They also always called back with an update when they promised they would, so their communication with us was good. Thank you Wards of Kent, I highly recommend their services.

Once again the team at Herne Bay Wards have delivered an excellent service in trying times. This was my third sale through Wards Herne Bay and I returned to them because of the high level of service which I received. From the initial valuation by Graham to the continued updates and laision from both Julia and Grace made things so much better. Amazing customer service!!!

Me and my husband are just days away from completing on our new home. It hasn't been the easiest or smoothest process for us and its taken a lot longer than we first thought, but despite the hurdles we faced in other areas of the buying/selling process, we can't begin to thank Grace from the herne bay branch enough. What can we say, from the very first meeting completing the valuation, through the viewings and getting an offer Ash, Prince, Tash and the team at the Chatham branch have been outstanding.The chain on our house sale hasn't been the easiest, to say the least, but through Ashley's and the teams above and beyond approach to chasing everyone and more importantly keeping us informed as best as possible. Recently i had a great oportunity to come across Terri and Shumila at the "Wards - New Ash Green" branch in terms of buying a property. I should admit that they are one of the best agents i have come across. Honestly it was an amazing experience and i would highly recommend them. I was much amazed with the amount of extended support at all times through this clear but lengthy process at each step. The amount of information from Terri and her team was so crisp, precise, meticulous and ensuring alignment to detailed process with relevant updates all through the process. How should I start this review on my letting agents Mrs. Abi Miles and Mr. Hamid Lone my two brilliant letting agents that I had pleasure to be with them over three years now.My property was rented out 3 years ago and I had the same tenants lived there for 3 years. Altough I expected my managing company to get an increase on the rent every year by a reasnable %, but it did not happened. I eventally turned to my renting agents Mrs. Abi Miles. She immidiately suggested to have an increase of 15% for a new tenant. Her suggestion made my day.Mrs Abi Miles was incredible and very much understanding of my case, so I want to take this apportunity once more to thank Mrs. Abi and Mr. Hamid for thier hard work wishing them the best of luck in the business for years to come.

Thoroughly recommend Wards and Kim Batchelor

I can’t recommend and thank Kim Batchelor and the rest of the team for their professionalism throughout our house sale. We sold our house during the first lockdown and out of the 6 properties in the chain the only person that did any work to get the chain progressed was Kim, she worked tirelessly to get our property sold. Had it not of been for Kim the chain would have collapsed and we would have lost our forever house.

Excellent Service from Wards

Jason Pyle (Branch Partner, Rochester) was very helpful and professional in finding us the right property, he kept us up to date and was always happy to arrange viewing times to suit us. Once our offer was accepted Judy Day (Sales Progressor) took over and she was always available to contact and always made sure to phone both solicitors then me back when required. She was very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Without Judy I am sure the whole process would have taken much longer. Really impressed

I had the property on the market with a well known online agent, accepted offer but the sale fell through went back on the market and accepted another offer which also fell through due to chain issues and decided to have a break on the house search. A few month past and I viewed another property listed with Wards and met Imarna I explained my situation with my current property as wanted to find our onward purchase before marketing the property again not to have to go through the process again for there to be issues. Part of the reasons for the sale falling through I believe was no sales progression from the online agents so I said I was open to letting another agent market the property, Imarna said that they had recently sold a property for over the asking price and they was looking for a property like mine and thought they could achieve a price higher than the asking price, I thought they is no harm in letting them have a go at marketing it if they can achieve more for the property to cover the additional fees. Laura come to my house and I agreed to give Wards the listing and one viewing to take place at the weekend. After the viewing we received an offer above asking price which we accepted and I cannot fault the service and how responsive and easy it has been with Wards in comparison with the online agent. I knew the house would sell no matter what agent it was with so went cheap and got cheap service, I just wish I had gone with Wards straight away and maybe wouldn’t of wasted thousands on fees. Every communication I have had with Laura and Imarna has been a pleasure and really felt looked after and cared for.
