Miles and Barr were an efficient company for the purchase of my property. I was a bit disappointed to have to pay for my identity checks and not have any option but to do that, other services I used just swallowed that cost themselves.I was assigned a wonderful Sales Advisor, Shelley Webster, who updated me regularly on the process, answered any questions needed and called me to discuss any of my worries which was so reassuring. She was so supportive and made the process so much easier. She is a real asset to the company and made everything much less stressful!

We sold our house through Miles & Barr, Ramsgate. Initial impressions were great at the valuation. Once the property was listed I did feel I had to correct a lot of details in the description & push for changes to photo order and wording to help generate some interest, as everything had gone quiet. Happily we did get an acceptable offer and after that we were kept updated by the Senior Sales Progressor, Becky White, who I thought was fantastic, especially in the last push to get everyone in the chain ready for exchange - not sure we could have done it so quickly without her! Thanks!

What went wrong? Everything. What a shoddy and Ill-managed company for rentals.. terrible communication from "experienced" agents with almost zero ability to manage properties properly.If anyone is reading this from the Dover area - avoid.Unable to take over management of my own property within a timely manner as the information that was asked for, which was sent multiple times was apparently incorrect. With absolutely no communication as to what about it was incorrect. Turns out, after speaking with three more agents, it was a number that was already on the page that was missing? It's a "if you don't laugh you'll cry" kind of situation. I will never use miles and Barr for any of my future rental properties ever again.

Miles & Barr recently sold my property in Margate. Every member of the team I dealt was incredibly professional and helpful throughout - from the initial valuation to the viewings, and then to supporting the final sale. A particular shout-out to Louise, who helped coordinate (and move along) the exchange and completion, when the solicitors on both sides were operating at a snail's pace. Just one piece of advice: find new partner solicitors, Miles & Barr, they were terrible!

Ramsgate moles And Barr must be the worst estate agents I’ve ever used. They got me to sign saying they’ve got someone in mind. Nothing came with that just to get me to sign as soon as I signed. I hadn’t heard anything from him for weeks and weeks I rang up to see what was happening, and the agent I was dealing with has left the office and not working there anymore, I asked someone about my property and they haven’t got a clue about it. No one at the Ramsgate agents has even been round my property to look. I rang up to complain and 28 minutes after I had a viewing what a load of rubbish they must think I’m stupid then after that still hadn’t heard anything for weeks rang up again for them to say to drop my property £30,000, so I done it on their recommendation and still haven’t heard from them so two weeks ago, I gave them two weeks notice to take my property off the market they said yes that’s fine not even asked me if there’s any problems if there’s anything they can do why am I taking the property off the market nothing from them whatsoever I said to the lady on the phone do I have to do this in writing, she didn’t have a clue and asked to ask two other colleagues if I had to then came on the phone and said yes you have to so I’ve done this. The time has come and this property should’ve been off three days ago so I rang them and said why is my property still live on the market , I don’t know I’ll do what I can today to take it off. Absolute rubbish do not use

Have been renting through M&B for about 3 years and I have had to raise many issues with the property which were not fixed.Terrible conditions of the property which I had to fix myself i.e redecorating, sorting out a disgusting garden which was overgrown with weeds due to the back garden being connected to a highly dense bush and this kept growing through into the garden.I have had my entire deposit withheld and the landlord left me in a terrible financial position right before Christmas. I cleaned the property to the best of my ability before leaving but apparently this was not enough. Shocking service throughout the tenancy.
