Our case was not straightforward but Graham took the time and effort to explain various considerations to us in a very approachable and jargon-free manner. He was very polite and friendly, a credit to Miles and Barr. If in future we decide to sell the property, we will go back to him.

GoogleWe have used Miles & Barr twice now. We find them courteous, quick to respond and offering a stress-free service from the beginning to the end of the process of selling a house. I would single out our negotiator Shannon Philipps from the Canterbury office who has shown great initiative on our behalf. I would also say that everyone we have been in contact with during this sale and a sale about a year ago from Miles & Barr has been helpful and understanding. Both our sales have been connected to the death of family members during the pandemic and it has been a real relief to find such mature and empathic help from these agents.

From day 1 we were permanently having to chase them to get things right. The photography was terrible and even after a second attempt the photographs did not do the property justice. After threatening to cancel our contract they eventually sent a decent photographer. Incorrect details of the lease were posted. We went into their office many times to get errors corrected each time wasting valuable weeks trying to sell. On their recommendation we furnished and dressed our property but when advised they didn't even bother to view it. We submitted our own photographs which again wasted another week of them getting them posted correctly on the selling sites. GO ELSEWHERE!

The worst customer service ever. Lazy and incompetent. Tried to sign us up for 2 weeks just to realise my name was not even on the system but somehow was only my partners name and phone number. Could not get anything done for 2 weeks but when my friend called- local business owner with nice English accent- got 2 viewings in 2 days.Not only failed to inform us about canceled viewing ( that was confirmed by phone call the day before) but also could not keep the word of informing about upcoming properties. Called to book a viewing only to find out that the maximum viewing have been booked, although I was promised to be first one to know if anything suitable would come up.

And still Miles and Bar let the drug dealing go on in the property they are meant to manage, they have now been reported for aiding drug dealers ,, they just turn a blind eye to the drug dealers at number 4 shorncliffe road folkestone.. the other residents have had enough.
Dear Mr Anthoney, We can confirm our Folkestone Property Management department takes this subject raised seriously and continue to manage the matter. Police are notified of criminal actions reported and these must be dealt with directly by the Police.

Miles and Barr were great to deal with. They made what can be a stressful experience (buying a property) much easier and very smooth. Emily Stickler, the member of staff assigned to my purchase, was excellent. Regularly checked in with me and a good communicator which meant any possible problems were resolved quickly. I don't intend to buy or sell another property but I would use them again, definitely, if I did.

She was really friendly and attentive, and was able to answer all of our questions! How lovely to see all the team putting them self out to please buyers. For the young girls and don't forget the men . Well done. GoogleOur house has only been on the market for just over a week and we’ve already had far more viewings than we had originally anticipated. This is due to Miles and Barr’s excellent presentation and promotion of the property. We’ve also been delighted with Emily and Brooke who have hosted the majority of clients viewing the house. They are both highly professional, courteous and friendly, both to us but also of course to the viewing clients. They fully understand the property and are able to answer client questions but will defer to us as vendors when we have been asked questions about the property or have contributions to make. The excellent teamwork between estate agent and vendor works very well and best promotes the opportunity to sell the house. In conclusion, we have been delighted with the complete service provided by Miles and Barr.
