Over the last 15 years I have had numerous dealings with David Hatch who has acted on the sale of 5 of my properties as well as managing my Buy to let portfolio.
I always find David to be very knowledgeable with regard to the prices that I could achieve when i sell my properties and I'm confident he obtains the best possible price for me when I sell. He also handles the progression of the sale extremely well to ensure a quick and stress free completion.
With regard to rentals, David manages my portfolio of properties in Docklands and South London, and he and his property management team provide an excellent service. Any routine property maintenance is completed without problem with excellent value for money.
Much recommended to anyone buying / selling or renting in Dockland and South London.

We used to live in Woolwich and moved out of London over thirty years ago and feel like it is time to return to the capital. I came across Alex Neil while attending an event at the Docklands and met David Hatch. Although we have not decided exactly where to live and what size of property we can afford yet, David was very helpful and gave us a lot of information regarding house prices and about each of the areas Alex Neil specialises in, even though the area they cover is quite large. He also gave us advice on what we need to do to sell our own property when we are ready, such as how to obtain the energy rating (EPC). David came across as personable and very knowledgeable. You do need to allow a bit of time with David though, as he does talk a lot, but not too pushy. This is not as negative as it sounds, because as a "new" buyer, I need all the help I can get. Would I recommend David as an estate agent? For the limited time since I first met him, I think he can be trusted, as far as estate agents is concerned. David, please keep in touch and let us know when something that you think fits our requirements becomes available. By the way, I didn't score anything on Valuation achieved because I am not selling via Alex Neil, and I can only give an average score for Value for money as I have not bought a property yet, but hopefully, I can confirm they are good value as well when we eventually complete our purchase.

David Hatch visited my property on 17th July to assist in ascertain its open market value and potential as a development opportunity.
Prior to his visit he had researched the local market conditions, similar style properties currently for sale along with sold properties via the Land Registry in the past 12 months..
Three options were proposed with an explanation of all costs and projected time scales.
A comprehensive written report was posted 11 days later for my perusal.
I found David Hatch to be a very knowledgeable and well informed agent, willing to explore and explain all possible options.. His professional approach is to be commended.

The people I have dealt with at Alex Neil were all very nice. However, as an organisation, it is not there to represent the interests of tenants. It took about five months to get an external sliding door fixed. They tried to show buyers round the flat four months before the end of the tenancy when the landlord decided to sell, and I had to remind them of my legal right to quiet enjoyment. And now I am being forced to pay Alex Neil for a landlord reference for my next flat. I have never been charged for a landlord reference before, and I think to charge for this is somewhat cheeky given the other fees we have paid Alex Neil.

The Trusted AgentUnreasonably high fees, took my holding deposit
Very disappointed with the way this agent has treated my case. Tenants, beware!
I have paid the holding deposit for the tenancy at 3 athol square, e3. Have sorted the reference documents out within a day and have failed referencing. Have paid £540. My tenancy was meant to start on the 2nd of may, I have failed referencing on the 21st of April (which is reasonable time for the agent to find a new tenant). The agent didn't even give me any T & C's for the holding deposit and agent Kamen told me that in case I fail the tenancy, there will be an opportunity to present with the guarantor. But it wasn't the case. I have offered more names on the tenancy, the guarantor, asked for alternative options (which any agency usually has, something like paying more deposit), but it was declined right away. It's not a fair practise to charge £540 just for referencing (the standard referencing price is up to £150 per person) and for 'putting the property back on the market'. Very unprofessional and unreasonable expense. Have taken them to Small Claims Court after a legal advice from my lawyer. Wouldn't use again.
