We recently had an offer accepted on a property through Dominic Tenant at Green and Co West Hampstead. Dominic has been extremely helpful since we first got in touch with him, always making time for our property viewings later in the evenings and even over the weekend. As first time buyers, we had many questions which he happily talked us though. Unlike many other estate agents we worked with through our search, we never felt pressured by Dominic to 'increase' our offers on any property. He respected our budget and eventually negotiated a great deal for us on a property that we really loved. I would highly recommend Green and Co for their services and especially Dominic for the work he did to find the right property for us.

I then chose Greene and Co, who surpassed my expectations with their excellent customer service, advice and hard work. They were easy to get hold of and when I did speak with them they were very helpful. A big thank you to Karolina who relentlessly chased my buyer and their (not so responsive!) solicitor, and helped to get my flat purchase completed. I would definitely recommend this estate agent.

I contacted the Kilburn office regarding a flat they advertised last week asking to book a viewing. I spoke on the phone with Emily, who told me that due to incompatibility with moving-in dates (we were looking for someone one month and a half from now), she did not wish to show me the flat. When I said that we could be flexible with dates if we liked the flat, she kept on denying the viewing and in a rude manner she put the blame on the landlord would want tenants immediately. She then offered to show me similar flats, but I explained that me and my partner particularly liked that one and that I would keep an eye in their website and call them back if we found anything of interest. Emily kept calling me back about possible matches and subscribed me to their mailing list. I tried to unsubscribe twice, but kept receiving their emails. I called them and asked to be unsubscribed, but the agent was very rude and hang up the phone! It's a shame to have to deal with rude estate agents who do not seem willing to help you with such a frustrating process. And it's also a shame because this agency seems to advertise very nice flats.

We used Greene and Co to sell our 3 bedroom flat. The process was explained well and we were offered sound advice as to how to market the flat best. This included providing us with a lot of comparatives, which was helpful in setting the price. Viewings were managed efficiently and communicatively; the one issue we had during the sale process with muddy footprints on the carpet was resolved the next day by Scott, who was professional and responsive throughout the process (which turned out to be very short). I would definitely recommend.

Helpful estate agents that went the extra mile

We dealt with Sharon James at Hamptons when we rented a property last month - she came across honest and down to earth. She was always punctual and organised when sorting out everything we needed from viewings to getting all the referencing checks sorted. When one of our checks failed, she went the extra mile to sort it out for us and so luckily we still got the rental property, when it seemed at one point like it was going to fall through. Why was i told by a Hamptons agent in West Hampstead that Countrywide has nothing to do with Hamptons when they are apart of the group and it states on the Hamptons site at the bottom of the page (Hamptons is a trading name of Countrywide Estate Agents Limited) Hamptons Estates Limited is an agent and subsidiary of Countrywide Estate Agents Limited and even have the same registered office. An excellent company to rent a property with!

I’ve been renting a property with this firm since 2017 and recently having run into certain financial difficulties-this company negotiated a contract which would help me manage my finances and keep the landlord happy. The exemplary and very kind service was with Renewals Consultant Sara-Louise Wood. She took into account all sides of the negotiation and worked a suitable arrangement, very quickly, in order to remove any stress. I would definitely recommend renting with Hamptons, they are worth the money you pay, and although the three different contract renewal consultants I’ve dealt with were good, Sara-Louise has been the best. A great professional yet compassionate person.

We’ve recently moved into a property managed by Hamptons and the experience so far has been impressively seamless. When our washing machine broke down, Max Barnes, our property manager, swiftly sorted out the problem and arranged for us to get a new machine. As we have a toddler, we appreciated the quick turnaround! Max has been very efficient in solving any issues and is always very friendly and helpful. On the lettings side, Catherine Sutton, showed us around the property and was really helpful and knowledgeable. We’ve rented from a few letting agents in Oxford (some good and some not so good!) and we’ve been really happy with the experience so far with Hamptons and would recommend.
