We've just come to the end of a four-year tenancy managed by Hamptons. Huge thanks to Sharon at the Stratford office for being so helpful throughout our tenancy and particularly while we tried to manage the end of our contract while also navigating a house purchase with ever-shifting dates! Having rented various properties with many different agents over the years, we can whole-heartedly say that our experience with Hamptons was by far the best. The few issues we experienced were dealt with promptly and effectively by the property management team (thank you Katie!). The check-out experience was also great - thank you Camillie for the swift communication.We would highly recommend renting with Hamptons. Thank you!

GoogleGreen & Co seem to have the best properties in West Hampstead. It is a pleasure to work with them, and particularly Adam Prince. He understood my requirements clearly and never showed me an unsuitable property. They also don't seem to overprice their properties like some other agents in the West Hampstead area. If you are looking for a property here, you aren't really looking unless you're registered with Green&Co.

We recently worked with the Hamptons Earlsfield team to rent a house and I couldn't recommend them enough. Our agent Vita was extremely professional from start to finish, from responding promptly to emails and helping us patiently through the whole process. On moving house we met the rest of the team in the Earlsfield office and they were all so helpful in ensuring our move was as stress free as possible. I would reccomend the Hamptons team to anyone.

Hamptons consistently overcharges for repairs when they manage your property.I have been a client of Hamptons for 3 years so I have had the opportunity to observe the pattern of behaviours when it comes to overcharging on various occasions. I have been into properties for over 10 years and use to do everything myself, so I know what things cost.When Hamptons send their plumber, it will cost you twice what a normal plumber will charge. For their roofer it is between 4 and 10 times the normal price. For me, the final straw was when they quoted me for 3 sashes windows that needed to be replaced. Not the whole frame, just the bottom sashes. Their quote came up to, all included, £ 12’089. I was so shocked by this price that I have asked my neighbour, who has similar job done to their window, for recommendation. Their tradesman quoted me, all included, £ 1920, for the same exact job. That is more than £ 10K overcharged!Hamptons regularly let dishonest tradesmen overcharged their clients because once the quote is higher than £ 1800, Hamptons can charge an extra 10% to “manage” the quote. That is on top of the 4% a month that I was already paying for management. In this example of the sashes that needed replacement, it would have generated over £1K net profit, directly in Hamptons pocket. I found it truly shocking. Obviously, I have terminated my contract with Hamptons as I don’t like to be taken for a ride. I just believe other people need to be aware of their practice.

I rented my property through them and remained in contact throughout my tenancy, including during a prolonged and serious noise issue from a neighbouring flat. Despite repeated complaints over many months, communication was largely limited to messages being passed back and forth, with no clear ownership or meaningful resolution.

Paul and the team at Hamptons are truly fantastic, particularly Jocelyn who is the Property Manager for my properties. If there was an option for 6 stars then they would get it. They have taken all of the stress out of letting out my flat as a first time landlord. The whole process has been incredibly clear throughout and the team are incredibly knowledgeable regarding all of the obligatory rules and regulations. Nothing is too much for them. I am incredibly happy with the service provided by Paul and his team and could not recommend them more highly.

We have worked with Hamptons, for many years and can say that without question they are a very professional company. Property Manager Harjeet Kaur is extremely helpful and has an excellent understanding of the relationships between Landlords, tenants and contractors suppyling services. It can be very difficult to keep eveyone happy at the same time, and this is made very much easier by Harjeets communication and attention to detail. We highly recommend Hamptons, Harjeet and the team.

We have had a horrible 5 year experience of Hamptons. Moving to another agency, thankfully!They are awful. Treat renters terribly, as if you are lucky they allow you to stay in their placesI would not recommend them to my worst enemy!They initially tried to move us into a house that had not even been cleaned! Things went downhill from there!

Firstly, quick response and assistance from Morgan to view the property was great. He helped us with timely updates and lady who supported in his absence was equally good. Then our experience with Property Manager Lucy has been excellent in fixing services issues we had when we moved in. I should not be missing out on 'Just Move In' team who helped setup necessary services for home. I am glad I found Hamptons and will come back to Hamptons for my future needs.

GoogleMy experience of using Scott and his team at Greene’s for our flat sale was a very positive one. Adam, who is personable and unpushy, capably showed many people round and got to know the flat well, Scott handled the situation highly professionally when two buyers offered exactly the same amount and Sarah was an excellent calming influence when solicitors appeared to be living on a different planet.

I would like to thank Hamptons team who took great care and excellent service of my property at Roehampton House since 2014-2022. Since then, I have gone through a couple of property managers which were all great but I would like to give a shout out to Minneaux Schandorf, the current property manager at Roehampton House whom we are very privilege to have known. We have not met personally but his service is above and beyond expectations. He has accorded me and my family with so much help and guidance during our move/transition. He seems like a very selfless person and needless to say, excellent in his job. With people like Minneaux and his team by your side , you will be in good hands either as tenant or landlord. We rented a property through Hamptons who provided an exceptional service. When our landlord decided to sell the property, Hamptons went out of their way to find another property for us. I would particularly like to mention Sophie Winterson who managed to balance being professional along with patience, understanding and kindness. She went out of her way to ensure there was a smooth transition between houses, liaising with our old landlord and our new landlord - Sophie did this with positivity and cheerfulness. I cannot recommend Sophie, and the whole team at Hamptons, highly enough.
