Good customer service

I have recently reported a couple of issues and the property managers have responded quickly and sorted them out within a reasonable time. Staff working in the property management team and the contractors have been so far helpful, professional and friendly. One suggestion for improvemenr: having a dedicated phone line or chat, or access to an online form to report non-emergency issues.

Previous Martin & Wright- "we serve the landlord" We rented a property from them and everything they advised us turned out to be completely false : - very bad mould in master bedroom- they said it would be done before our move, when we moved in a family of 4 had to live in the single room for 5 months until it was sorted; - fence in the garden - would be put up, after 2 years we finally had to spend the money, with no refund, as people could literally walk into our garden (next door multiple occupation) and did on several occasions; - we renegotiated the contract renewal directly with the landlord, went onto a statutory rolling contract- THEY ARE CHARGING US FOR THAT - no paperwork, no work but we have to pay them??????? All work we either do it or deal directly with the landlord - they are useless! Finally we were told in no uncertain terms, "WE REPRESENT THE LANDLORD" I don't share the general opinion and find it hard to believe as I have delt with different people throughtout 3 years. If you are a tenant: BEWARE

She responds to our inquiries with urgency and professionalism either trough phone or email. Bridging concerns between us and landlord is not an easy task but she always finds a way to do it with a win-win result. My girlfriend and I had a great experience dealing with Reggie at Dexters. We had seen quite a few places with other agencies that were generally not great. He showed us 2 places. The first was a great property, but just wasn't quite right for us. After the viewing he kindly gave us a private moment to discuss, whereas other agents we'd dealt with had felt quite forceful, Reggie wasn't, and listened to why the first place wasn't quite right and suggested another place he could show us the next morning. The place the next morning was perfect, very clear he'd suggested it because he'd actually listened to what we wanted, and wasn't just pushing another property on us in the hopes of getting us to take something from him. I would definitely recommend using Dexters, especially if all the staff there are like Reggie, definitely a mark above other agencies in the area.

These guys were great, led by Jay, an excellent Director. Instructed them to let a property at the end of a Monday. By the following Thursday they had found a tenant. 8 days later all checks and paperwork were completed and the tenant had moved in, so all in all it was started and completed in 11 days! I was a bit cautious about using an Estate Agent so had a ton of questions for them throughout the process all of which they were able to answer promptly. They were really transparent and open about how they did things because they have confidence in the service they provide. I look forward to continuing to work with them. Thank you Dexters!

Dexters will not care about you

We are a current tenant and have raised multiple issues with the landlord however Dexters continually give us messages that they are following up on the issue but no correspondence from there on. Issues like a broken fridge took more than 2 weeks to be sorted and we have outstanding issues that have been "followed on" for months.Dexters have shown they will align themselves with the landlord and not the tenant.
