I had the most horrendous experience ever with dexters old Brompton road office. Particularly with the unprofessional and useless director called Eleanor. She constantly lied to me about the amount of viewings and whether the keys were actually working. Please do not use the service of this agency. It was disorganised and terrible. I had to leave them after 3 weeks where they wasted my time. I will never use these people again.

The worst letting and property management company ever!! They do not care about the tenants, only the landlord. As long as the landlord gets a good offer, they won’t bother helping with issues in the property. And they trick you with adding stuff to your contract after you’ve signed and paid deposit / rent so you are left with no choice but accept whatever they add into the contract.

This is the worst property agent I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Even though I left their property in the best state possible this company has attempted to withhold my deposit and try to get their tenants to pay for redecoration costs despite all issues coming from fair wear and tear during a pandemic. If you value your hard earned money and want your value for money, Dexters is not it.

GoogleHaving had a good experience with Dexter’s when I moved into my flat, when it came to changing over tenancy, two years later the service was incredibly disappointing. I was deliberately overcharged by the agent, Reggie Tully. He told me that the charge to transfer the contract to a new tenant would be £300 and that he did not want to reimburse my deposit through the DPS because “of too much risk”, instead insisting me and the new tenant sort this our privately. Considering this would be additional work for me and not him, I countered that £300 seemed high, but he was dismissive and patronising and insisted the fee could not be lowered. An hour later, I checked the contract which states the transfer fee was £120. When I called Reggie to confirm he conceded without so much as an apology for attempting to overcharge me.NegativeProfessionalism
