Unexpected Help

We were buying a 2nd hand Hopkins Home from a vendor who was buying a new Hopkins Home - we had a few problems relating to our sale and the help we got from Hopkins Homes was superb even though we weren’t buying from them ! In particular Katherine Grant was an absolute star, with her knowledge and contacts we were able to keep our chain intact and complete our move, which at times looked destined to fail.

Customer Service that Care

I purchased a property back in 2020 and the sales and customer services team were great. However, the reason for this review is that i contacted their customer services team a few days ago to ask if they had records of the tiles used in the property. I didn't expect much as its not as though they are gaining anything from taking time to deal with an old customer but Max was incredibly helpful and sent me the details of all the finishes for the house. Taking care of previous customers shows the culture of the business and really grateful to have support years after the initial purchase. Thank you, I can now add some tiles that match instead of re-tiling the whole bathroom!

First impression Church Farm Drayton

A House Purchase with the whole purchase and after care fully explained…

Rachel was exceptional from the very first moment my wife and me met. An understanding of our requirements when looking to purchase a new property. She was very professional in her approach but also empathetic to our requirements in our property. She explained to us in a sensible and easy way the Hopkins Homes approach to buying property. Having bought new homes on several previous occasions where we often had to return for explanation of terms and conditions certainly not the case with Rachel . We placed a deposit on a bungalow under construction late summer subject to a sale of a property in the Midlands. Not a very good experience

Not a very good experience. All smooth at the start but then things dragged on, some of which was due to my circumstances, and a total lack of flexibility from Hopkins. It was other little things like very few updates, a total lack of options/choices, I asked for regular photos as we live 150 miles away, got one, taken out of the door of the sales office. Render colour changed last minute. Site manager couldn’t have been less interested, when I said I was keen to get in before school in Sept for my daughter, he literally shrugged his shoulders, wife was told ‘your house isn’t the only one we’re building’!! We pulled out of the purchase, reservation fee was kept but no communication, receipt or confirmation provided.

We’ve had an ongoing issue with the… Hopkins homes

We’ve had an ongoing issue with the grouting in our kitchen floor, a structural engineer has also been out luckily the house is sound. He told us there was not enough screed under the tiles meaning the grout is constantly cracking open. We’ve now have a hole in our floor for over a month. Hopkins are very good at selling houses but there customer service and aftercare is shocking and we’ve had experiences of rude staff we are now also being ignored by the company so we will be contacting the NHBC this weekend about the ongoing problems

River Reach Development repair of crack in ceiling

River Reach Development Firefly Close Andy was asked to attend our home to repair a large crack that appeared in our kitchen ceiling.He arrived on time, explained what he was going to do.He was so friendly and professional he was a delightful man, extremely conscientious,and so clean and tidy.We didn’t know he had been.He told us at stages what he was doing and when finished explained what he thought the problem was and what he had done to prevent it happening again.Andy is a credit to Hopkins and we really felt that he should be given a mention. Since my first visit to the Elms in Woolpit, Jason has been there to guide me through the whole process in a professional and affable manner. It makes such a difference to work with someone who is warm and friendly as well as being knowledgeable about the whole build process.I and my friends had a lot of questions on the various visits we made to site and Jason made sure we had all answered. From the first visit to The Elms in Woolpit we have felt all of the butterflies and excitement one hears about when buying their new home. Jason has been fantastic throughout the whole journey of purchasing our home. - selling a home and placing your heart on the line when buying a new one is stressful but with Jason and the team everything with Hopkins home has felt enjoyable, warm and they have truly provided a top standard 5 star service. We are so grateful to have found our house with them and for Jason, as he has been a pleasure to work with. We have just moved in and see him on site and he continues to be kind, helpful and generally a lovely person to have a chat with alongside being super professional. He genuinely cares about our happiness with our new home. Our snagging list meeting has been arranged for a couple of weeks after we have moved in and we have full confidence in being taken care of having met Lukas who really cares about the high standard of workmanship in the home he has built with the team. Hopkins homes do not disappoint!!

Hopkins homes do not disappoint! We were looking for a new home but more importantly, a well built new home. After reviewing several companies and being disappointed with the build standard, we found Hopkins Homes in Woolpit. Jason, the Sales Manager , and I, started talking when all we saw was a bare field. Jason was very approachable, knowledgeable and if he needed to find out the answer to a question, he would come back to us quickly. He helped us to decide on the right home for us, without pressure or agenda. Even on his day off, he would reply to any question we had. The whole process was smooth and efficient. On the day of moving in (at the end of August this year) we found a beautiful, clean and tidy new home, ready to move into. Jason was there, together with the site manager to talk us through every aspect of the gadgets in our home. Nothing was too much trouble for them all. We have a snagging meeting next Monday and to be honest, we struggled to find anything, such is the build quality and workmanship in these homes. Jason, thank you! For Everything. Xxx
