Professional service from Bridges throughout the sale of my property. I was kept updated and they responded swiftly to any questions. They followed through on the clients questions and promptly handled queries and visits to the property in my absence. I also used their recommended solicitor services which made the sales process seamless. During a slow market in Winter 2025 they persevered and found a buyer before the Christmas break.

I’m currently buying a house through Orchard Estate Agents and I can’t recommend them enough. In particular, Petra has been the representing agent that I’ve found my house through and the service has been nothing short of excellent. She quickly understood what I was looking for and found me a house within a matter of days. No other estate agent had filtered out the houses that they knew weren’t suitable for me. Petra is very knowledgeable and gave me her honest opinions which I found very valuable and ultimately helped me make my decision. I don’t think there are many estate agents out there that offer this level of service to buyers and I would definitely recommend Orchard to friends or family looking for a house and wanting the 5 star service.

Shocking! Went on the market in November and took our house off market FEB 24, admittedly a bad time of year to sell, we had 2 viewings but never heard from Orchard between viewings. There was NO communication reg our sale at all. They promised the earth and initially sounded great 😌 In the end we decided not to move but if we were serious about selling, we would have been very disappointed. Sorry guys but you were asking over 9k to sell our home and we expected you to work for it.

We had tried other agents to sell our flat without success and on the off chance visited Orchard Estate Agents without much hope. How wrong was I ! Within a few days we had a viewing and even when that did not proceed we had another viewing arranged very quickly which ended up with a completed sale. Hands down the best estate agents we have ever encountered. We had a few poor viewings with Bridges and were almost put off but Orchards couldn’t have been any more different. A special mention to Daniel Findlay - what an asset he is! He met us on our first viewing - no hard sale just relaxed, very professional and knowledgable. On agreeing the purchase, Daniel kept us updated throughout and helped keep things ticking over. Our completion day was a bit of a nightmare due to the sale of our property but after giving us the key, Daniel rolled up his sleeves and gave us a hand shifting our belongings into our new home. Even after completion Daniel kept in contact to make sure we were settling in and if we had any issues. Thank you Orchards and especially Daniel for making our move a whole let less stressful. Highly professional, well organised & incredible service

As a 1st time house buyer in the UK we had viewed a lot of houses and had dealt with a lot of other estate agents. The day I popped into Orchard Rebekah was very professional, and took time out to take my details and go through properties. We had 5 viewings booked for the following week. We dealt with a few people in Orchard for the different viewings and they all knew our detail and were very personable. For the most part we dealt with Rebekah. The house we were interested in we viewed 3-4 times before finally deciding on the purchase. Once our offer was accepted Chris took over as he was the completion expert. Level of communication and professionalism was second to none. For anyone selling a house that thinks using one of the online firms to save money is a good idea, you should think again. All these silly adds about "commisiory" on the TV/Radio. You pay commission to estate agents as they know the market, are knowledgeable about questions and understand the entire process. We did other viewings with home owners directly and it was so off putting as a buyer. We also did viewings with other estate agents in the area and the level of professionalism, dress code etc was poor. Could not be happier with Orchard team. People buy products but in reality people buy from people. All at Orchard were wonderful to deal with. Any future house sellers need to keep in mind that " people buy from people"

In a day and age of cost saving where…

In a day and age of cost saving where people use internet based agents to reduce the cost, you will not get the service, interaction and work ethic of a traditional estate agent. We started the process with Orchard to sell our property, our sale was not an easy process but Orchard were relentless in their efforts to sell our house. We stumbled upon Orchards when we decided to spread our property search a little wider. Are we glad we did! Our initial contact was Daniel Slade. Dan has such a nice manner and comes across very professional but friendly. We didn’t get the feeling of the hard sell that sometimes I certainly feel you get when looking at properties. Dan listened to our criteria, got into a good conversation to get the measure of us and what we need. As a result, he has found us our forever home. I have to say we dismissed it initially but Dan gently persuaded us to look and have a discussion about it. We are so glad he did because we are just thrilled with our soon to be new home. I would highly recommend this company, they have been superb and in particular Will, who seems to have a calm friendly efficient manner when all around him (me and solicitors) are losing the plot. Paul at Orchard has been a breath of fresh air. Honest, helpful and offering meaning advice on the properties we viewed without being pushy. We never felt rushed or that anything was too much trouble (even a 3rd viewing was no bother!). They kept us very up to date with progress so we were never left wondering what was happening. We felt they were doing their very best to get a deal which everyone was happy with. When Paul was off he made sure the other guys touched base and they were equally pro-active and helpful. We have now had an offer accepted on a property through Orchard which is definitely in part due to their approach, and would definitely look to sell our property through them in future.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Paul Phelan and all the staff at Orchard. Throughout the selling process, Paul provided first class support, providing daily updates and advice through all the 'ups and downs' that inevitably come with selling and buying a house. When the buyers at the bottom of the chain pulled out, very close to exchange, threatening the whole chain, Paul and his colleagues at Orchard stepped in, and true to Paul's word, found another buyer within 2 days enabling the whole sale process to be completed within one month. Paul really should be commended for the brilliant service he provided. This is the second time that I have used Orchard to sell a property and I am always impressed by the company's excellent and comprehensive customer service. Rachel was very helpful in every step of the way to help me adjust and understand the processes. I never felt rushed and she was very patient to all my questions and concerns. She took time to keep me updated about all the changes happened over the month of me renting the place.The following could be coz of the fact that I moved from a country where things are done differently But I would have liked a better inspection of the apartment (nothing crazy but i would not call the place to be professionally cleaned) before moving in, had to reach out to the apartment management multiple times to get things sorted out. Though this has nothing to do with Orchard (i guess) and they did promptly shared my concerns with the management (which i am not too impressed of).

Orchard were brilliant! We had a particularly difficult move involving a new homes site at the top which Orchard were selling, along with the property we were trying to buy. We lost a buyer on the day of exchange but Will and the team kept the chain together when we re-sold and remained calm and maintained their excellent level of communication.
