Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

GoogleSarah and her team are absolutely amazing! Moving is already a stressful process but made worse as I was situated in South East of England. She made it pass by like a breeze with their team’s amazing professionalism. So if you are moving into or within Halifax, Bridgfords is highly recommended.

GoogleHow unfortunate that the branch manager is rude and obnoxious. A query that has been unresolved since 2022 has continued to be unresolved and no help at all from the manager. There is no customer support at all. It’s not in their vocabulary to assist anyone. You are commanded to call the office which is ever answered.
Countrywide & Bridgfords take data privacy very seriously and as we have previously advised, we cannot answer email queries in relation to specific files when the email address is not one we hold on our records. We also cannot verify identification documents that are provided to us via email. We will be more than happy to try and assist you if you would like to call the office directly on 01422 331100.

GoogleAs a single male looking to extend my interest only mortgage into my seventies, the help provided by Lee Johnson was significant. The enquiries he made on my behalf, with both my current and prospective providers, provided me with sufficient information to see a way forward that would satisfy my needs. This has given me comfort that, in a couple of years when I need to make a final decision, I shall be able to continue living in my lovely home, should I decide to do so. So, at this moment in time, although Lee has spent a deal of time on my issue, it has cost me nothing in fees! The professional advice given was on the basis of my needs at this time, although some time in the future it may prove to be financially beneficial to Lee and Bridgfords? In my experience, I would unhesitatingly recommend prospective customers to consult him on mortgage enquiries.

GoogleJust wanted to thank Lee Johnson for his advice and support in helping us to secure a mortgage. Our previous broker did not have his expertise and this led to us being sent to a lender who would not have considered lending to us! Lee also considered our insurance needs as we have a large family. Matt, Alex & Elaine were also very knowledgeable and supportive in helping us to find and view suitable properties.
