I’m currently going through the process of buying my first home, I cannot thank the staff enough. Josh showed me around the property answering all my questions along the way and giving friendly advice. Rebecca has been fantastic from arranging the mortgage advisor to the solicitors and constantly keeping me up to date. Both have taken any stress away from buying a new house. Professional company which I highly recommend!

I have never know such incompetence from such a company. I moved out of my property which was managed by Peter Alan 7 weeks ago, i have not heard a word from them even though i phoned twice and even went into the office. They promised to escalate my problem to the regional manager and i have heard from him either. After i put my letter of intent to vacate i had a reply from head office with the correct date. During the next month the lettings team headed by Dane Jones kept on phoning me at really short notice asking if they could show people around. This i agreed to. What i didn't agree to was members of staff just letting themselves in without my permission and leaving my lights on. It was still my house and i was still paying the bills. Their excuse was they thought i had vacated, my furniture was still in there and i told them 3 times my leaving date Up until this minute i have not heard from them with reference to my out muster and my bond has still not been returned to me. I wonder if this complaint will get me some action.

I’ve recently started searching for a little private rented property and tried diamonds but was getting no where ! Seen a property on the market with Peter Allen and got a viewing the next day and Jocelyn which may I add is the most sweetest women ever and has been so helpful with everything ! She’s answered every question I’ve had and kept us up to date with the progress of the property and I can’t recommend Jocelyn enough for all her hard work!

Have been dealing with Caerphilly branch for nearly four years now , and I have to say that I have had the best service from this branch , recently my property had become vacant earlier than anticipated, so was a bit stressed, I needn't had worried as Jocelyn my agent was amazing, she is so personable and assuring, she managed to LET it within days, nothing was too much trouble for her, and she showed so much empathy to me at a worrying time, always at the end of the phone and updating me frequently, I feel she is an asset to Peter Alan and can see her going far in her career, in all fairness, all the staff are very good in caerphilly that I have dealt with and not forgetting Dane as he has been fab too. Moving house... Who would do it..?? On a positive note, however, should you be lucky enough to be allocated to Claire Barry at Peter Alan Caerphilly, you just might just decide to use Peter Alan again in the future. Claire has been amazing, throughout what can only be described as the most stressful situation in my life!!! I couldn't have asked for more support! My tenancy has just ended on the 30th of October 2022. I handled back the keys and immediately informed Peter Alan's team in writing that there would be an overpayment of the rent because I couldn't stop the last direct debit payment already set up. In the same email, I requested the return of the overpayment. Since then, I have called PA Caerphilly almost daily, not to mention the emails sent... I have been trying to discuss the matter with the branch, but for over a week, I have been waiting for someone to explain why the overpayment can't be just sent back to me. Finally, at the beginning of this week, I was informed I could speak with the accountancy office about it, but sadly for two days, no one even bothered to pick up the phone. Till now, the only thing I have received from the branch is the information that the accountant team can deal with the matter next week... This means that PA is holding my money back without any reason, not wishing to deal with the case immediately. Furthermore, last week I found out that the branch hasn't introduced a new tenant to the property at all. On top of that, the girl at the branch, Abigail, said there were issues with the electricity and internet, something the new tenant couldn't sort out. I said this doesn't seem right, and I am willing to talk to him about it. Next, I was given his phone number and name. I contacted a new tenant I've spent over half an hour on the phone with him, taking him to step by step through every little detail of bills, council tax, rubbish collection, how the heating system works, and the alarm... He was more than grateful for the extra help that wasn't delivered by the agency. Yesterday I received a call from a new tenant. Apparently, the lady who deals with the deposit has called and written to a new tenant asking for confirmation whether the issues found in the report are visible to him or not. She then called me, saying she is holding the deposit back due to the damages to the property... The new tenant is still shocked by that, we both know there were no issues with anything in the property. He says every device and every white good in the kitchen works as intended, confirming that I have left the house in a perfect state. I have been in touch with the landlord, that has visited me several times during my stay in the property - she is also shocked by how unprofessional the PA team is. It is outrageous that no one from PA took the time to actually come and investigate a house when I was s there. Now I'm being accused of damages that don't even exist. On top of that, the Caerphilly team is chasing me for the inventory document I have never received before moving into the property, not mentioning that no one actually bothered to introduce me to the property at the first place... To summarise: shocking, unprofessional, neglecting behaviour towards both, tenants and landlords. Avoid at all costs!

I’m absolutely devastated at the poor service I have received from the Caerphilly Peter Alan branch. I was accepted for a lovely home in Caerphilly and paid my holding deposit. Since I had sent the payment I tried contacting Peter Alan for documents and to collect the keys but had real difficulty getting any kind of response to move the process on. At this point I had given my notice in to my current landlord. They had called me today which is a week later to tell me that my offer had fallen through and that I will no longer be moving into the property. This Is an absolute disgrace as it’s left me without a place to live. I would strongly advise you not to use their terrible unprofessional services. I also imagine I’ll have difficulty in retrieving my deposit back. STAY CLEAR.

What an absolutely brilliant branch in Caerphilly. We had a leak in our mortgaged property and had to find a rental while work takes place in our home. We have been looking for somewhere for 2 months to meet criteria we had to have. Rhys went above and beyond any duties he had to do. After 1 property fell through, Rhys took it upon himself to help us find another. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, he did it! Between phone calls and emails from the insurance and a housing relocation firm Rhys did everything he could to help us secure a property. He listened to how stressful our situation was and how many dead ends I had met and he solved it all. We really can’t thank you enough, a big weight has been taken off our shoulder now our own home can be taken care of and repaired.

Rhys@peteralan top man. I don’t usually leave a review but will like to share my experience I had with peter Alan. I purchased a flat from auction in Caerphilly without viewing. Property was in serous disrepair needs new electric rewire , new boiler new doors and full refurbish. Me living in Luton that would be a big struggle however Rhys at peter Alan managed to organise all this for me at very reasonable price from his contacts without me being there so I have not lost any income from my job, and he managed to secure a tenant paying £500 a month that’s a yeld over 15% I have done business up and down the country no agents will go out of your way to do this. I will definitely do business with them again and recommend others too specially landlords you must try them before others and see the difference for yourself. Thank you Rhys@peteralan
