If I could score them a zero I would .been renting with the Albany rd branch for just over a year,they are wholly incompetent liars and their customer service is nothing short of shocking.Never answer phones don't respond to voicemail s or emails ! God help you if you need any repairs carrying out.AVOID

Why bother when they don’t….

I have been trying to contact the Tonypandy branch with regards a property I am interested in buying. I have spoken to their central number, I’ve used their online ‘BOT’ option to try to speak to someone, all to no avail. Whoever has their property listed with this branch, I would suggest engaging a company that 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 communicates with potential buyers. This company is rubbish with callbacks.

My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat…

My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat through Darlows for approximately one and a half years. The company were helpful, ensuring a easy move in. When the time came for us move out of the property I have to say Sam McAllister was extremely helpful. Whilst completing the end of tenancy inspection he was very friendly and informative explaining the process, which areas usually affect the tenants deposits, and which areas are usually a concern for the landlord. Sam continued to demonstrate utmost level of customer care by phoning and updating me personally on the status of my 'check out' and when I should expect to get my deposit back. I honestly couldn't sing the mans praises enough

This company is absolutely useless !! We have been renting with darlows for just under a year when we originally put the offer in on the property it was on the grounds that it would be painted cleaned and all the nails and holes in the wall would be replaced/ repaired BEFORE WE MOVED IN as it was in a pretty bad state from the people before. instead of them getting this sorted before we moved in the day we picked up the keys we was told it had not been done yet, a year later they are asking us to sign for another year which there’s not a chance in hell I would do! It’s been a year and I have asked for an inventory several times as it is a legal document required for liability, every time I have tried to ask I have been ignored and they had the cheek to tell me next years rent will be going up the way this place is managed is horrific as soon as you have put ur deposit down and paid first month rent you will be ignored and left to your own devices. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone honestly

Very sincere and helpful staff

Moving into a new house is never a simple affair and we did have some minor issues at the start of the tenancy (totally expected and normal), however, the team at Darlows have been very efficient in helping us to the best of their ability. Namely Sam Mcallister & his colleague Zara have been very good at helping us deal with any problems we've had so far. As a younger couple it certainly feels like the first time our concerns have been seriously addressed.

My wife and I began our property search in October 2018, that's when we first met Gareth. He goes above and beyond to fit us in for viewings on short notice, accommodating our busy work schedules. HE IS ALWAYS very knowledgeable about the property that we are viewing, giving an overview of the area and local amenities. He gets back to us almost immediately, leaving us an email when we are not available by phone. Although we haven't found our 'forever home' just yet, Gareth always sends over anything new that comes in that suits our requirements. We used Darlows to both sell & purchase & have received a first rate service throughout the whole process. The staff in Caerphilly are friendly, professional & approachable & nothing is too much trouble. We had a few issues along the way with our purchase but Darlows experience made it an easier ride with their constant updates & chasing all parties on our behalf. We dealt mostly with Livi the branch manager & Natalie who are both very friendly, easy to talk to & really did make the whole process more manageable for us. We would not hesitate in using Darlows again should the need arise 😀
