A positive buying & selling experience

Having fallen in love with a house marketed by Normie & Co. I decided to stick with them for my sale (Gina handled my purchase and Nigel my sale). Nigel's photos of my house were fantastic and no doubt helped to secure above-asking-price offers within 3 days. Getting these offers quickly was essential to allow me to get the house I wanted, as the purchase was very competitive. Gina and Nigel ensured that offers were considered and accepted quickly, which took a great deal of the stress out of the process. My solicitor turned out to be a bit of a nightmare so it was great to have Gina and Nigel's help to reassure my seller and purchaser and to chase things along. Both were professional, reassuring and kept in constant touch with all points in the chain. More importantly, they're both super friendly - no question was too stupid and it really felt like they were as excited and as keen for things to go well as I was.

Fantastic customer service - would definitely use Normie and Co again!

Thanks to Georgina at Normie and Co for making the house buying process as simple as possible. Excellent customer service throughout, including a framed print of the house purchase memorable dates (offer / completion etc.), which was a really thoughtful touch. Georgina was incredibly professional and authentic throughout, which helped put us at ease as first time buyers. Previous experiences of renting hadn't put estate agents in high esteem for us but this was certainly a much better experience.

We couldn't speak more highly of Nigel at Normie. He worked with us to ensure our purchase went through, he was always available to help and couldn't have done more. He was even available outside of work hours. We wish that we had sold our own house through Normie as we were very disappointed with our own estate agents. I couldn’t fault Nigel’s service!

I couldn’t fault the service from Normie & Co. As a first time buyer the whole process was very new for me and Nigel was fantastic every step of the way. I always felt well informed by the agency and knew I could pick up the phone and have my questions answered. The final touch of a lovely ‘moving home’ pack was the icing on the cake when picking up my keys!

Absolute p*** take. They expect full employment history, salary, pension details, contact details, information on current rent, emergency contact details, personal information (incl. nationality), full details of current landlord and current property BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO VIEW A PROPERTY. This has to be repeated for every tenant. I am very happy to fill in a few details about myself before a viewing. But expecting people to take half an hour + to fill out this form before even being allowed to arrange a viewing is just ridiculous. Bunch of cowboys.

I found Georgina ,David and colleagues all friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and of all the local estate agents I had a valuation from, they were the only ones who listened to what I wanted and viewed it as my home and not just a property to sell.I would definitely recommend them they have good local knowledge,Georgina is friendly and approachable and gave me a valuation on the property where as other estate agents were more interested in what others had valued it at !! Definitely use again if needed.

I can't thank or praise Sharon highly enough. The sale of my fathers flat went through quickly and smoothly to my great surprise as due to his ill health, it was in a terrible condition and I would have thought it pretty unsellable. There were a variety of very complicated legal issues that required attention before the sale could go through and she was fantastic at keeping me informed at every stage of the proceedings. I must add that I live in the UAE so I was not around personally to attend to things all of the time. I highly Recommend Normie and co, who were recommended to me by several other people in the first place. Again I don't know how the sale would have gone through as well as it did without Sharon's help.

After selling my home through Normie's Nigel even dealt with the purchase of my new home which was from a from a different estate agent, I just gave him the details and he did the rest The whole process of selling my house and buying my new home was hassle and mostly stress free thanks to Nigel and his wonderful team any issues that did crop up all I did was e mail Nigel and he dealt with it, allowing myself to get on with life.:)

Selling a house can be traumatic and fraught with complexities and setbacks.The staff at Normie provide an excellent service and guide you through the process smoothly and efficiently. Lawrence was professional, responsive and excellent at coordinating between seller, buyer and lawyers. He remained totally committed to the deal when it looked so many times like it would collapse due to numerous and unforeseen setbacks.Lawrence provided helpful advice at every step of the way and explained things. He also provided helpful advice on what actions to take and when they were necessary. I am totally satisfied with the service provided by Normie.
