What a great team!

Having had two potential sales of my mother’s house fall through with another agent, I contacted Josh at Oakheart Property and from that minute everything changed! He got 20 viewings in 2 weeks and we ended up with a choice of buyers, one of which completed last week. The whole team at the Prettygate branch were amazing: they were all enthusiastic, positive and friendly and never left me in doubt that they would make that sale! Annalise was a wonderful sales progressor, always keeping in touch with positivity yet realism. I can’t thank them enough for all that they did and would recommend them unconditionally.

Fantastic experience as a new landlord

As a first time landlord I can’t thank Rich at Oakheart enough for making it such a smooth process. The marketing material was very professional and Rich found a very appropriate tenant all signed up within 24 hours of my flat going on the market. So to any new or existing landlords, I’d recommend you give Rich a call, he and the team at Oakheart are streets ahead of any other lettings agent I have ever encountered, who just offer such unreliable customer service. If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would, do not go anywhere near this company (Colchester branch) to let out your property. All good while they are taking a so called 'management fee' from you every month but when it comes to dealing with the TDS to help you get some deposit back from significant damage left by the tenants then I have been bitterly disappointed. Emails not replied to, telephone calls not returned, and to top it all have not told me that the TDS have awarded the deposit back to tenants. I resorted to phoning TDS myself when Oakheart have failed to communicate with me to be told that the 28 days has passed since the financial settlement has been made so I, as the Landlord, can no longer raise a dispute. I will be in contact with the Ombudsman.

I viewed a property and asked them to come back to me the following morning with some information regarding another viewing and some information on renting potential. I was promised a phone call by two people the following information with the information. The next morning I received a text message instead of a phone call asking if I wanted to make an offer. I texted back regarding the information. This turned into about 6 text messages which did not answer any of my questions. If you’re looking to sell or rent a property - I can not urge you enough to call Oakheart immediately, within hours Richard was able to meet and take down our requirements. He used his experience to gauge our price point and narrow in on some properties. Some of which were yet to come to market! Putting us in the best possible situation. Viewings were set up quickly and communication was precise! Avoid Oakheart

Avoid Oakheart. I've already left a Google review, but felt it was important to share our experience across all platforms to help others avoid what we went through. They showed a complete lack of care for us as tenants. Communication was consistently poor, and they failed to address a serious complaint about damp and mould in the property. As a result, my husband became seriously unwell, was hospitalised for two weeks, and was signed off work for three months, with ongoing health issues. To make matters worse, we've received no compensation for the furniture and possessions that were damaged and had to be replaced due to their inaction. Avoid them if you value your well-being and peace of mind.

Review of my experience with Oakheart Estate Agent

Oakheart Estate Agents have provided a professional service and interfaced well between my Wife and I as purchasers and the sellers of the property, marketed by Oakheart EA. I particularly like the way the conventional Estate Agent role (George Dunn in our case) transitioned to the Sales Progresser role (Annalise Wright). Both George and Annalise were professional and reliable in doing what they said they would do. My Wife and I have not completed yet, thus if the good service continues up to and including completion, I would be then happy to convert the 4 star rating into a 5 star rating.

Nothing short of excellent!

Oakheart Ipswich have been nothing short of excellent! We negotiated a fixed fee before instruction which was very competitive. Kelly and the team have been fantastic, friendly and professional at every stage, from getting our house on the market and sold within a week, then keeping us informed as things progressed, chasing things up for us (which there was quite a lot of!). Even when we had a last minute issue requiring a survey, Kelly was on it, managed to find us a surveyor who could come out the same day! I cannot recommend Oakheart enough, they are great!

Oakheart are excellent! I became an accidental landlord & they helped me through every step of the way, getting my property let in a super short time despite Xmas & the New Year getting in the way. Charlie is my primary contract, providing a consistent personal service with a great team as backup.
