GoogleWe were very impressed with all the staff at the West Byfleet office. We were keen to move quickly. Edward Wheatley was our main point of contact and was always responsive and a pleasure to deal with. At a point in the process when it looked as though we might not be able to complete by the date we had wanted, Edward pulled out all the stops, and, working closely with our solicitor, enabled us to complete in our time-frame. I would also like to mention Nigel and Ruth, who were also a pleasure to deal with when Edward wasn't around. Thank you to all of you!

GoogleWe were lucky enough to meet Mario when he showed us around our dream home earlier this year. Since that meeting our road had been full of ups and downs and Mario has been by our side with expert advice and guidance but moreover care and understanding. Mario has never once turned us away and always given us his precious time out of his busy schedule to explain everything step by step. He has picked us up when we have been down and shared our happiness when things got better. We are still hoping to achieve our goal of owning our dream home soon and we know we can rely on Mario 100% to help us to achieve this.

GoogleThe experience we have had with Fine and Country Bury St Edmunds can only be described as shambolic. Our journey started when the valuer came to the property and gave us a market valuation which we agreed with and subsequently instructed them to sell the property. The agency agreement was signed and we had to wait for the branch manager to visit and take full details and photos. Upon his visit he said he did not agree with the valuation price and advised we marketed it a lower price. We were somewhat alarmed by this as we could not understand how two people from the same office could value the same property in the region of £50,000 different. We discussed this in depth and came to an agreement. When intially discussing the marketing of the property we asked how many potential buyers they had on their mailing list who would match the property and we were told 14. Two weeks in we had heard nothing so we contacted the office to find out if there was any feedback from the potential 14 matches to be told "when we told them it had a small garden they were not interested" We were somewhat shocked by this as although the garden is not huge it is not a postage stamp and we would have hoped that as our agent they would be focusing on the positives to get people through the door. Time passed and we arranged for a "mystery shop" call to be made and the outcome of this was nothing but unbelievable. Our caller asked what properties they had 15 miles of Bury St Edmunds and explaing the criteria required which matched our property to be told they had no properties which fitted. When further asked about our property which had been seen on Right Move our caller was then told about a totally different property. Our caller requested the details of the property they had seen on Right Move (our property) to be sent totally different details to a totally different property. At the intial valuation appointment we were told Fine and Country were associated with Chilterns Estate Agents in Brandon and as we were in their catchment area our details would be held at that office also. Again we made a "mystery shop" call to Chilterns to be told they had no properties which fitted our criteria. We took this up with Fine and Country. We did not receive a call from anyone to discuss this shambolic case of events and it just got dismissed. As no surprise we advised we wished for our agreement to be terminated and our keys to be returned. This is over a week ago and we are still waiting for our keys. The whole experience is farcical

GoogleFine and Country acted as the sellers for our purchase which we completed on last week. Although acting on behalf of the sellers, I found every interaction with them to be efficient and helpful. At the initial viewing the agent was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the property, an aspect of a sale many home owners don’t get to see, he made us feel at ease, allowed us to view the property without being intrusive but on hand to answer questions. During the subsequent sale Marianne and Dan answered numerous questions both during the initial sale, whilst exchanging contract and post sale. What I particularly liked about Fine and Country was that even post sale, when their fee had been secured and they had no financial benefit from helping us, they continued to provide an efficient, friendly and helpful service when resolving minor administrative tasks following our move. I would highly recommend the service they provide and we are very grateful for the help and support you have provided us during the move. Thank you.

GoogleFine by name and fabulously fine by nature, Chris and Marianne of Fine & Country Bury St Edmunds, are quite simply the best Estate Agents we have ever dealt with. We were impressed by their efficient, friendly and caring professionalism - plus the interior design prowess that Chris has in bucket loads! There were a few hiccups along the way (not of their or our making) but at all times, Neil, Kelly, Bobbi and Kristie worked tirelessly to solve them and kept us informed with compassion and humour. We were not the most lucrative property in their portfolio by any means, yet we were treated with as much time, courtesy and professionalism as any. They are an excellent team who are all aware of your situation and act on your behalf without waiting for a specific member to be available. Everything is followed up and potential hold-ups are anticipated and minimised. All along the way we felt supported by the whole team. We could not recommend them more highly to anyone wanting to sell or buy a property. They are a credit to their profession.
