She was super helpful and went out of her way to deal with things she didn't have to. She made everything so much easier and less stressful. He’s a genuine person and was always honest and open with us with the sale of our house and purchase of another. GoogleWe highly recommend Duckworth's estate agents to sell your property. They have all the local knowledge needed. We had what should have been an easy straight forward sale, made complicated due to the fact that the property was leasehold. We had tried other estate agents and were about to give up the idea of selling, but Leanne at Duckworth's was confident she could sell it and that is exactly what she did. GoogleLeanne was fantastic I would havent given up, it hadnt been for her sorting all matter off things out that wasnt really the estate agents role. She should be working as a solicitor and all credit to her she was amazing. Because the solicitors Watson and Ramsbottom which deals with Duckworths estate agents was an absoulte nightmare from start to finish. The first time we drove over to Chorley to hand over all cerificates eg electrical, gas service for boiler. Weeks down the road they denied I had handed over an A4 envelope with all the documents in, my partner and I were both in the reception area when I handed them in. I asked about a security camera in reception they replied they didnt have one. I then had to pay for more cerificates which wasnt cheap. They would send e-mails asking for things which I had already sent weeks prior, I had to keep a copy of everything. I had three different solicitors in total it was a nightmare. Even in the last week of completion the contract that was sent, had the wrong postcode for the property I was buying, my address where I was living was totally wrong. People couldnt beleive the incompetence of them.

Jason is truly a professional and knowledgeable agent who took time during viewings to understand my personal situation and what I was looking for. Leanne was superb, she efficiently communicated with me and really put me at ease as a first time buyer. I obtained my first house through Duckworths and I cannot believe how fast and smooth the process was. Thank you so much; I would highly recommend both Jason and Leanne at Duckworths!

GoogleIf you want an estate agent who’s prepared to go far more than an extra mile, ask for Leanne at Duckworths in Burnley. She isn’t just a lovely person, she really cares about what’s going on during the sale and pulls out all the stops to help. I live on the south coast so couldn’t deal with some of the practical tasks that came up. Leanne made arrangements for everything that could have been a problem. She always gets back to you and makes well thought out suggestions as to how to make things progress smoothly. She’s restored my faith in estate agents. Thank you Leanne!

IF ESTATE AGENTS WHERE REGULATED THESE GUYS WOULD BE STRUCK OFF. We put our house up for sale with Duckworths only on the basis that a house we had seen with Duckworths was ours as we had placed an offer. Debbie who came out to our house to value it sat on our sofa and called Ben at the office and advised to get a hold on any further viewings on the property that we wanted, and that the house was ours. We then got contacted by a neighbour who advised they was aware we was selling and that their relative was interested, which then quickly move into us accepting an offer from them. We advised Duckworths we had sold privately and was ready to instruct solicitors on our purchase of the house we wanted that we had been led to believe was ours and the vendor was happy with our offer. Then out of the blue the house had been sold to someone and we couldn't have it. I'm not so sure this would have been the case if we had not sold our house privately. We advised them we had only putting our house up for sale on the basis the house we wanted was ours and they knew this. We are now left with having to find somewhere to live as we agreed sale of our house to a family that are waiting to complete the purchase. As I say the miss selling and tactics used here would have them struck off if they operated under a regulator, lucky that they get to make it up as they go along.

We were allowed to take our time and discuss the house from room to room, which gave us the opportunity to appreciate the surroundings Leanne was professional and knowledgeable but also had that human touch that put us at ease in what can sometimes be a difficult experience. Not only has she got a great personality but she was also able to advise and guided us through the process of buying a house.

GoogleWould 100% recommend Duckworths to anyone looking for an estate agents. Daniel was friendly and knowledgable when valuing our house and nothing was too much trouble. The whole process has taken a long time with one thing and another but Daniel and Leanne have stayed in touch regularly keeping us updated. Leanne has been amazing, always on the end of the phone or email. She has helped in any way she can and her friendly, fun personality has made the whole process a lot easier. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she is very proactive with getting things done.
