1000 Thank you's Since moving to the UK. I have only relied on one estate agency to help me find rental accommodation. That is until I started the process with renting a property with Romans Letting & Estate Agents in Wokingham. In all my years, I have never had such a seamless transition than this. Andrei Csomortani, the letting agent for the property deserves a 6 star rating for his professionalism and expert advice through the whole process. It was truly a 1st class experience. Joe was EXCELLENT.

Joe was so good.Joe was the valuer and I found him to be honest, kind, very professional and loyal to Romans - he talked to me about all the plus and minus points - his honesty was refreshing to be truthful with you.I felt confident with his honesty and straight talking which other agents tend to pussyfoot around the subject and offer the world and deliver nothing. I felt that confident in Joe that I signed up right there and then and the other 2 agents wanted me to sign with them as the area is very popular. Due to medical issues I could not do the usual contract time but agreed to 12 weeks although I wanted 8. Joe was very accommodating & showed how Romans care about their sellers - a true asset to your company I am sure he will go far as he was so passionate about his job.

bad service, I booked a visit to a property and the agent called me this morning to cancel as they have accepted an offer. surely you should allow the "booked " viewings to view and not take further bookings.... then make the decision when all viewings have completed and all offers on tiger table . VERY BAD service ! I iwll try to avoid using this agency in the future - Location Romand Tilehurst/Reading.

Wonderful service

I went for a viewing for a student property through Romans. The agent, Saffron was very friendly and approachable. She showed us around the house and answered all of our questions well and in detail. Romans are exceptional with communication - they answer calls and queries quickly and efficiently.

Fantastic service provided by Dan and the team

Dan and the team were fantastic. He went above and beyond to try and keep the process as stress free as possible for us. The team were always extremely responsive and always happy to help. Nathan! A credit to the team!

Nathan has been fantastic! I was so keen about a property that I bombarded the office with online enquiries and telephone voicemails, Nathan quickly got in touch the same day and arranged a viewing for the following day. We are now day four after finding the property and have submitted our references, he has been super helpful always at the end of the phone for when we encountered problems, at the viewing he was incredibly professional and knowledgeable especially about the no deposit scheme and the benefits included. He is a real credit to the company name and it has been a pleasure working with him so far so that we can move into our dream property.

My girlfriend and I recently purchased our first property together through Romans High Wycombe. The service from Romans was efficient…

The service from Romans was efficient and professional from start to finish. At the start of the process, we were dealing with Warren Hendry, who carried out the valuation, put the house on the market and also arranged and held the open houses. Even after having our initial buyers changing their minds, Warren ensured we were back under offer in less than a week. He is also the person who recommended us viewing the house we eventually purchased. We were very impressed with the service he provided. After Warren left the branch, we were handed over to Jack Farnon who was also exceptional. Jack went above and beyond to ensure our house sale was completed on time. He kept us informed throughout the process and even dealt with the many difficulties we encountered with professionalism and sincerity, serving as a mediator between the various parties involved. I truly believe our move would not have been possible without him. Will definitely be referring Romans to all of my friends and family. Thank you again!

Honestly, I couldn't wish for a better service from any estate agents, they were informative, approachable and happy to help with all the questions we had. I usually avoid Estate Agents, had some bad experiences in the past, but so far no problems with Romans. Have not been intrusive, and let me keep to renting without bother! Aside from the usual inspection every 6 months, it usually doesn't take long. A matter of 10 mins, and done! Reporting repairs is also very easy. I would like to thank Isabella York for actioning all my concerns I have raised very quickly, literally same day, or the next day if I send a late night email. Doing so in a very friendly way!

Wouldn’t recommend

The whole experience with Romans was very bad. Yesterday when we completed, I was told to go to the branch to collect a set of keys. I went in, they made me wait and told me that the previous home owners were not ready and we had to wait for a few hours which didn’t help our situation. When I asked for the key, Tamsin went to find it and came back and told me they didn’t appear to have it ( which they were clueless about). So I wasted my time in the branch when I could have just gone straight to the house. The worst experience ever and no one made it pleasant.

Move Manager Alison Savva did an amazing job. If it had not been for her my sale would never have reached completion. Many thanks Alison for your hard work and professionalism. Lifetime Legal - I would not recommend using this service to anyone. They are now dealing with my ongoing complaint against the conveyancing solicitor, Melia Mumford, who they placed me with. Although Life Time Legal’s complaints department are being helpful I feel that they need to thoroughly review the firms they place clients with. Earning almost £1000 as a finders fee for placing clients with solicitors who are unable to offer a satisfactory level of customer service is unacceptable. I wish I had chosen my own solicitor and regret signing up with Lifetime Legal.

A pretty terrible experience from the beginning and of of the most inept letting agents I have had the experience of dealing with. Punctuality has been poor. Numerous telephone and in person appointments not attended. Copy of birth certificate lost. Continually having to chase up on requests made. A change in property manager with no handover of any sort. We had to contact to locate our own new property manager. I have looked at reviews and any negative reviews get a generic templated response - which doesn’t surprise me in all honesty.

Kerry went above and beyond helping to secure a suitable rental for my retired parents following a fire at their property. We were struggling to have offers accepted as we only needed the property for 12 months but with a very competitive market and multiply offers on each property most landlords opted for those looking for a more long term stay. I am happy with the Branch but not the ID checks They are completely unacceptable

I am happy with the Branch and especially Luke M so far, however the ID checks are incredibly time consuming, intrusive and frustrating.I should have been advised all this would be necessary before marketing my property.I have used a number of Estate Agents for both sales and lettings over the past year and none has asked me to spend all this time and effort on ID checks. Expecting clients to spent this amount of time doing Romans and Lifetime Legals work for them is unacceptable on so many levels, not least the fact that I don’t know who I am giving my private information to. I have been given no assurance that this process is totally secure and that my identity is safe. Even now after a week, my property is still not being marketed while I wait for the ID checks to be completed. I am very frustrated and sadly I could not recommend Romans to my friends and colleagues as they would not thank me for putting them through this process too.
