I was really impressed with Romans

I was really impressed with Romans, Lorraine Eivers did an amazing job of updating us ever week and keeping on top of both us and the sellers to make sure the process was as quick and easy as possible, she was fantastic. The rest of the team were also excellent, when ever we spoke to them they were able to give us quick, accurate and up-to-date information on what was happening, they all seemed to work and communicate very well together.

We needed to sell our mother's house in Farnham Common after she sadly passed away, so we invited five local agents to provide a valuation and sale proposal. Lewie at Romans (Burnham office) was the perfect balance of professionalism, honesty and market knowledge, coupled with a friendly and personable manner which we immediately warmed to. They gave us a good rate and we felt fully supported throughout the sale process by Lewie, Fraiser and the rest of the Burnham office. The whole process, from initial valuation to completion, took five months, which we were very happy with. Any delays we experienced were due solely to the buyer's solicitors and were chased up promptly by the Romans team. Thanks you, Lewie - we would not hesitate to use Romans again. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Service! I was moving from India to the UK for employment and was in search of an apartment. I wanted to move in as early as possible after moving to UK to avoid spending crazy amount of money on hotel stay and to get a residential address ASAP, so started searching while I was in India. It's not easy to search and get an apartment before you actually move to UK. None of my friends who have moved before me have been successful in doing so. Thanks to Romans, specially Swati for helping me out in my search of a flat and completing the formalities on time. The staff of Romans is very helpful, diligent and do help you in every step before and after you move into an apartment. Plus, they have loads of offers on all other stuff that you would consider buying while moving in. I'll definitely recommend Romans to my friends who's in search of a house.

The Professionals!

I actually chose Romans to sell my property as the property I am looking to purchase is also through them and I thought it made sense, although had to negotiate a better rate in comparison to other Estate Agents. I have to say to date I have been impressed with the service received, the organisation seems very professional and there were a couple of things that I thought were excellent ideas such as having the Sales Team come round and see my house, meet me and ask any questions plus I could point out what I thought were the key selling points for my house. Having a professional photographer was also another nice touch and I hope that his skills help to sell my property! I found Jack Barton to be very professional and also liked that there was no pressure, I explained my current situation and he assured me that if I wasn't able to secure the right property I could withdraw from Sale.

Zero stars to be clear. Basingstoke branch didn't leave us impressed at all. Handful of viewings with little feedback, no click through stats despite being told wed receive them. Sent numerous correspondence which was ignored but they blamed each other. You deal with a branch manager for 5 minutes then a lot of inexperienced staff who I doubt have ever bought a house.
