GoogleStaff friendly enough however my whole process took far too long to draw to a conclusion and over half the time I spent chasing them over a process that should of taken a week, almost took a month largely due to the referencing agency they use 'goodlords' which are truly the worst company I've ever dealt with. Gave goodlords more than enough information, payslips, referee references and access to my bank account twice and an offer of a garuntor all all was rejected. I have a good history of renting and dealing with agency's and reference company s had hunters and goodlords bothered to have looked i suspect goodlords procedure is all automated.tthis has been the worst experience by far and as a result cost me my security deposit due to both their incompetence and timing wasting never again.

GoogleWorst estate agents ever. We were purchasing a property sold by them last summer, had an offer accepted and well underway on the legal side when they allowed the seller to withdraw the property from us and increase the price by £50,000 when we were already 4 months down the line of the process. It was deeply distressing and quite frankly should not be allowed, any professional agent would not allow this. The property has still not sold so clearly the greedy owners and agents got what was coming to them!

Dear Cat,
I believe what has been mis-understood here is that as an agent is purely a representative for the seller. We MUST follow our CLIENTS instructions irrespective of our opinion. We have absolutely nothing to gain and must start all over again, there is simply no benefit at all for agents when their clients make this decision. If the sellers wish to withdraw from the sale of their property to seek more money, I am not sure what choice you think we might have in this decision? Whilst we can, and do, advise our clients on what is best to do, the ultimate decision is theirs, and this is why pointing your frustration at the messenger is disappointing.
I have called a few times to discuss this with you, but the call has not been picked up nor retuned, which is a shame as that generally leads to the review being one of upset rather than fact, as most people who feel aggrieved tend to be keen to talk about it rather than not.
We hope the home you have purchased is everything you wanted.

GoogleCouldn't recommend the Hunters Group in Burges Hill more! We listed our house in June 2022 just before the economic outlook plummeted with the cost-of-living crisis weighing on buyers' affordability and of course Liz Truss coming in and submerging the UK economy into almost certain doom. Banks started pulling mortgage offers which became a very stressful time. Ceri Quick, who we were lucky to have looking after our sale went the extra mile for us, having to deal with incompetent solicitors dragging their feet and just not doing what they supposed to do. She constantly kept us up-to-date and persevered with pushing all parties in the chain until we finally exchange and completed. Absolutely amazing service from all the staff at Hunters - Ceri Quick, Harry Dawes, Finlay Clayson and Chris Rowe.

When we were in the process of getting our house on the market hunters estate agents assured us of their high level of customer service.
We used Hunters for the sale and also purchase if our new property
Right from the start of the process hunters we're on the on the ball getting our house on the market and sold quickly so we wouldn't miss out on our forward purchase
At times it was stressful but the support was fantastic from the team and customer care above and beyond

GoogleFrom the initial visit to the completion of my house sale I could not recommend Hunters enough and would use them in the future.
During the valuation appointment they shone above all the other agents who came out to value it, from providing other examples of properties in the area and a binder full of information regarding our property we were selling which provides you something to read and also instills confidence as you know they are prepared from the outset.
We were in a fairly large chain and I don't doubt their input and hardwork throughout the process played a huge part in getting us over the line!
