GoogleMy wife and I found the staff extremely helpful in all aspects when looking for property in Burford, when eventually we found the house prior to purchase nothing was to much trouble, viewings were very well accompanied even at very short notice being very polite and informative. The negotiating was dealt with superbly and with ease and peace of mind. Particular praise must go to Emma who through a great deal of effort and tenacity sorted out a potential 'stumbling block: the outcome of which proved very fruitful. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Penny Sinclair through diligence,effort reliability and above all great communication and humour.

FacebookJudith and Georgia took over the summer short lets on my house last year and I have been extremely impressed. They are very efficient and proactive. I get a sense that they care about the property and take a real pride in their job. Estate agent have a poor reputation which is not deserved in the case of Penny and Sinclair. We bought our house in Burford through the local office during the summer of 2015. Throughout the process they kept us informed and conducted viewing at convenient times. Any question raised were immediately noted and responded to often the same day.
Although we had rented a property in the area for the previous eight months, moving into a new town creates its own problems. After moving into the house we needed to carryout refurbishment of the property but had no knowledge or experience of local tradesmen. Whenever we asked for recommendations, Penny and Sinclair responded promptly. We could not ask for no better service and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Was harassed throughout the tenancy with inspections every few weeks. The end of tenancy charges were so high for made up items that I hired a law firm. They got an out of court settlement as the contract paperwork hadn't been completed correctly. Not good for landlord or tenant.

Please could you confirm which office you dealt with as I would like to confirm where you rented as I cannot locate you as a client. We have standard quarterly checks so uncertain why there would have been any need for further checks beyond this and an independent inventory clerk on check out. We are also members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme which is the route we would take with any tenant unhappy with the result of the check out inventory.
