My boyfriend and I have recently been looking for a property. Although we haven't purchased through chancellors, Bonnie has been fantastic and very professional, keeping us up to date with new properties that match our search criteria :)

If I could give ten stars I would! From beginning to end Chancellors, Alec in particular, has been fantastic. All the questions we had were answered and Alec went above and beyond to help us. Many thanks!

James Ambridge has helped me when looking for a house in Chesham. He has contacted me quickly with any suitable properties and always been there for me when I have asked for advice.

Just paid our Admin fees for a flat in Chesham. Grace was very helpful and friendly the whole way through and reassured us when we were looking for advice. Very much looking forward to moving in.

All in all chancellors was ok. We did have a few hiccups though. They were patient with us as we hadn't moved for over 30 years.! Do feel a bit more contact and info on how moving works in 2017 would have been helpful. Also we did have a wrong appointment booked which was just irritating. Chancellors was good at giving us feed back on viewings very quickly which was good . On the negative side don't feel they were always professional in their attitude e.g. Phoning us up while eating and trying to hassle us into moving earlier than we had stated.

I’ve lost track of the amount of times the manager here has changed his story to cover things that Chancellors have told me that don’t add up. In July 2016 I enquired about a property for sale in Chesham listed at £325k, and asked to arrange a viewing. Apparently the property had sold and completed the same day for more than my budget. A zoopla search shows it sold at the bottom end of my budget in Sep 2016. In August 2016 I phoned Chancellors regarding a rental property in Chesham. I was told this property had already been let and was no longer available. That very day I viewed the property through another agent and paid the fee to secure the property, and I am still living there now. Most recently in April 2017 I enquired about a property in Chesham marketed by Chancellors. Originally I could not get through to Chancellors to arrange a viewing so I asked my partner to call whilst I was working. She spoke to an Agent who said she would contact the occupiers and arrange a viewing on our behalf. In the Chesham branch the same day I was told the property was sold. 15 mins later they were calling my partner to say they hadn’t got in touch with the occupiers yet to arrange a viewing! I kept myself and my partner independent as I knew the games this branch play from my dealings with them the previous year. Daniel Hemsley then called me the next day to “clarify” the situation. The official line he tried to give was that the house is under offer and the owner had asked for no more viewers, although wants the house to remain on the market. I do not know what this was supposed to clarify as me and my partner had been told two completely different stories in the space of an hour the previous day, I the property was completed and my partner that a viewing would be arranged. Daniel then went on to try and blame a trainee member of staff for the confusion whom neither I nor my fiancé had ever had any dealings with before. Daniel originally tried to say on the phone that he had never had any dealings with me in the past, before remembering the similar story he told me in July 2016. The Associate Director also in my opinion made an indirect joke at my expense saying I hope you find a suitable property in the area, knowing that they essentially have a monopoly on the market in this area. Again on this evening they called my partner to say they hadn’t managed to contact the occupiers but were digging asking personal questions to see if this was the connection that made it evident their story didn’t add up, giving her false hope which in my opinion could only be done by the lowest of character. I find it completely unacceptable that this team of people at the Chesham branch can deal with people and their family’s futures in this way. It takes so much work, effort and sacrifice just to get to this point and then when you get there Chancellors do nothing but hinder you, feed you different stories, and make calls giving false hope to try and cover their own tracks.

Excellent Gold Star service from Alec Worrall, Daniel Hemsley, Joshua Harding & Rebecca Wilkins. Most refreshingly and reassuringly Alec did not try to bamboozle us with empty promises. To the contrary, he honestly laid out the facts about the current state the housing market and what our realistic expectations should be about the valuation of our house. He fully explained the services Chancellors would provide and obviously the costs. I was totally impressed. Within a matter or a day or two Alec, Daniel & Joshua had found me a buyer and a sale agreed. Rebecca provided invaluable updates until the completion. Ironically, it's taken me longer to write this review than it took to sell the house. My deepest & respectful gratitude to the entire Chancellors Chesham on this occasion and no doubt in the future. From all the Virdi Family.

And we are in!!! First steps on to the property ladder and it wouldn't have been possible without the excellent service provided by Chancellor's. One man in particular outshone the most; Daniel Hemsley! We met him for the first time at a viewing for another property which didn't suit our needs, but were more impressed with his professionalism, humour & knowledge, even after a good 10+ hours of working! From start to finish he was always available, providing all information required. He even directed us towards their in house Financial Adviser, Richard Power. Who again was extremely professional and helpful. Being a first time buyer you are somewhat in the dark about everything but with these prodigious two, you will be on your way to a very happy home! We will definitely be using Chancellor's again!

INSIDE TRADERS !!! Been calling and leaving message for them for the last month or so, no one calls back. Some prime properties have gone on prices much under the market, as the Sales team always plays "BUSY" card, never showing properties to people like myself who are interested, while I suspect the properties are being sold to their connections. Shameless, unmoral but totally legal. Don't Trust Me........now worries..Just try contacting them for a viewing if a good property comes up, no one will call you back and the property is mysteriously gone, even though you were willing to pay much higher price.

Me and my brother have just successfully purchased our first property in Chesham. We wanted to move really fast with the process of finding the right home and I am pleased to say that by far these guys were the best choice. We started viewing properties in March, found the house in April and we have picked up the keys for the new house in May. I think the whole sales team is great, all friendly and professional, eager to help and fully dedicated to their jobs. I will surely use them in the future. Best of luck to all of you!

Staff very friendly on all our visits , Nick, Alec and the rest of the team were very helpful from start to finish,I know things did not go to plan at times (no fault to Chancellor's team) but we got there in the end (eventually).Owing to our move up north and not locally it seemed that much harder, when we found out our seller had taken his house off the market ,we had to drop everything and go back and look for another house, meanwhile the team at Chancellors were very professional and helpful in how they helped us in our situation. Once again thank you to all those involved. T Ryan

What an unbelievable service! As a first time tenant, I was rather out of my depth and didn't really know what was involved in letting a property. However, Grace at Chancellors was absolutely amazing in helping me through the process. She gave time and attention to our requirements, and found a property that both met and excelled our original specification! She guided and supported us through the tenancy process, right from initially viewing the property, to collecting the keys, to even helping us speak with landline and multi media providers! I feel as though I have landed on my feet, in a property I never would have dreamed of being my first home, and I owe all of that to the hard work, commitment and caring nature of Grace! Thankyou so much!

We sold our house with Chancellors in a week! Plenty of viewings were quickly arranged and the team commitment to selling our property was clear. We felt that whenever we rang up, the person on the other end of the line knew us, our property and could deal with any query that we had because the level of personalised care is a priority at Chancellors. From the initial marketing by Nick, the manager, to all the hard work put in by Alan to ensure smooth completion, we always felt we were in safe and capable hands. Nothing was a problem for the team at Chesham.

Chancellors have provided us with an excellent service. They are proactive in their approach and will actually try and sell the property, rather than sitting back and waiting for it to sell itself. Im particularly pleased we took the legals package, as advised by Alan. This meant Chancellors not only provided a great solicitor on the conveyancing (Jo Kent at Withy King) it also meant I had Lianne.. special weapons operative.. she can talk to all parties and poke them at will... solicitors are great, but they cant actually tell you much when you need to know what stage your buyer is at, how long something might take etc... Lianne on the other hand (Or any other specialist team rep, but I had her and she's fab) can talk to all parties - invaluable... Im so pleased we used Chancellors ... these guys will sell your house and are excellent to work with. I cannot recommend them enough.... Alan's great and very professional and Kevin has a wicked sense of humour that has kept me going when times were tough.... Chancellors, we salute you!

Just finished our house hunt in Chesham, sampled all the agents really during our search and Alec at Chancellors was easily the best agent we dealt with. Genuine interest in what we were looking for and didn't try and push things we didn't fancy. So pleased we could give them the business and bought a flat they were selling. Would not hesitate to recommend and when we come to sell in the future they will be the first call.

I have known Nic the manager for years, however its the first time I have asked them to market a property to sell. The Chancellors Team in Chesham office are very friendly and I was impressed with the speed and efficiency they market their clients properties. They work with an independent professional photographer to get the best photos and its all done within 24/48hrs. I would certainly recommend them. Thanks again for all your efforts!

Chancellors have been extremely proactive and positively reassuring at all times. We never expected to sell our house so quickly and they never doubted it for a moment. Alan in particular has been very supportive and professional and a pleasure to liaise with. We were also very happy with the legal team recommended by Chancellors even though we considered going else where. We have had an excellent service and would definitely use them again.
