Staff lied multiple times about the property we were moving into. This includes the agreed price with the landlord. The keys were late on move in day and they tried asking us to move in the next day. Specific details we asked about they lied about too. Everything about this branch is unprofessional and I would not go through chancellors or recommend them to friend. I called this morning to ask for some simple information and they said they would call me right back, no one had called me back. They appear to have no respect for people. Don't be mislead by my rating. I would give them 0/5 if possible.

Chancellors are the worst people I've ever met. They are rude, unprofessional and devious. They never answer the phones, they don't respond to their emails, they withheld information from us, both of the women (ciara brown and Gemma batey) who were supposed to be dealing with our move were extremely rude on several occasions and told me that chasing up references was my responsibility even though the referencing forms were never sent out and I paid £160 per person in fees. They sent out wrong contracts that had to be redone but we only ever found this out after I called them otherwise they wouldn't have told us about it. After over a month of them having my deposit and our moving date being pushed back several times we had an email on the day before we were due to move in saying that we could no longer move in. They lied about the reason for this when in actual fact it was because they hadn't done anything they were supposed to do in preparation for our move including getting a professional clean done. They left me, my husband and our 8 month old baby homeless. It is now 2 weeks later and they still haven't returned my deposit . Avoid chancellors at all cost! They are a bad company and the people who work their are nasty and don't care about their jobs or their customers. They are thieves.
