GoogleOur house sale had quite a few complications along the way but Charlotte Doherty was always on hand to resolve any issues and provided us with constant updates on the sale progress. Without Charlotte’s help, communication between all parties would not have gone as smoothly and I doubt we would have been able to exchange when we did. Thank you Charlotte!

GoogleI have dealt with Brown and Merry for the last 2 years. They have been utterly professional throughout and have always been ready to help me out when I had questions or queries over the sale of my property in Aylesbury. I have primarily been dealing with Edward and Martin who have always had helpful advice to give and been positive in their attitude towards the sale, even when I lost a little help (not in B&M but the solicitors). I would very much recommend them for anyone contemplating selling their property.

GoogleFrom the moment we contacted Brown & Merry we were impressed. We sold two properties with this fantastic agent in three months and couldn't be happier with our decision to choose them. Justin came out to value both properties and was most professional, informative, answered all of our questions and we feel priced our properties correctly ensuring that we achieved plenty of viewings and pretty quick sales on both homes. We dealt with many of the team over the selling process and all were incredibly pleasant, approachable and professional. We would like to thank everyone but, in particular, Alan, Martin, Edward and Charlotte who all contributed to us experiencing uncomplicated moves. At all times they kept us informed of the process, were honest, transparent, caring, great communicators and truly professional in their approach towards us. He was very knowledgeable about the properties he showed us, and was willing to answer any questions thrown at him with a smile. Brown & Merry in Watford started off well in trying to sell my house but tailed off badly. They were enthusiastic and created a good pitch and brochure for our 3 bed semi in Silkmill road,Watford plus an open day . An acceptable offer came in quickly but the sale fell through after 4 months. We felt they did not do enough to monitor its progress and their communication was v poor. After it fell through they did nothing at all to create interest so we terminated their contract. Would not recommend. Rightmove have been far better

I let my flat through the Stony Stratford branch and then - against my better judgment - agreed to sell through them. I can honestly say, the entire process was the very worst, most time-consuming and stressful experience of customer service I've had the misfortune to be on the end of. I literally don't know where to start in warning you to avoid Brown and Merry at all costs. There might be one or two good people but overall the culture and service, right up to the highest levels of this company is utterly toxic. Just some of the nightmare scenarios included my lovely tenants being given early notice without my permission, two entire sets of keys being lost leaving us with no keys, overcharging on invoices, buyers being given wrong information, documents being lost, quite literally having to beg rude, inconsiderate senior staff for updates, and a total refusal to accept any responsibility for really serious mistakes or even acknowledge they happened. It took months and months to resolve. The nightmare ended with myself and my poor tenants, plus my buyer who ended up withdrawing from the sale, all out of pocket and agreeing it was the most awful, stressful experience of our lives. We removed our flat and sold it through another agent. Please avoid B&M at all costs.
